Came to eat at the restaurant following a recommendation. Only a skip and a jump from Gleneagles and it is worth the trip. Food was excellent, very high standard which of course that comes at a cost but one we thought was reasonable. The restaurant/bar is 'rustic' but very comfortable. We had a lovely cocktail in the bar in front of a nice log fire. A nice wine list with a good range of prices on offer. Very good service and plenty of checking back on our food. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We don't often stay at Gleneagles, but when we do, we will return.

Celebratory lunch out: didn’t get into our first choice, but this place was a real winner! Great welcome, nice historic diningroom with quirky art and a real log burner, burning cheerfully. Delicious starters included venison tartare, beautifully chopped and blended with capers etc. with a cured egg yolk, just right texture between liquid and hard. Mains included Perthshire port loin chop, served sliced for ease of eating. Good veg and accompaniments. Pudding was a delightful sticky toffee pudding and cheeseboard: 4 well chosen cheeses served at room temperature, not chilled! The drinks included a nice citrus “mocktail” (driving) and a well made dry martini, chilled water arrived without having to ask and a nice bottle of Chilean Pinot Noir, replacing an unavailable Bulgarian one. With coffee, the total bill was £153.50 before service. Very good value for first rate cooking, ingredients, surroundings and ambience. Looking at the menu, and other lunchers, it would be perfectly possible to have 1 course and a glass of wine for £20. Highly recommended.

Absolutely superb hidden gem. What an amazing experience. Stunning food, spectacular ambiance and super attentive and friendly staff. Cannot wait to go back. I just wish we lived closer. Nothing was too much trouble. The open fires are gorgeous. Definitely need to book as it was constantly busy

We popped in for coffee as we’re passing through the village and had a brilliant experience. We were met by Lisa on reception and what a gem. Welcoming and friendly. We were served coffee in front of an open log fire served with a delicious brownie. We will definitely return and might visit the restaurant which was filling up with lunchtime diners.

We were staying in St Fillans and another guest recommended the Coorie Inn for a lunch stop. They were not wrong. From setting foot through the door we experienced a pleasant leisurely lunch by an open fire. Staff were friendly efficient and attentive. The food was well presented and expertly prepared. Highly recommend this Inn! The carpark is through an archway, that on first sight feels tight, but is actually easy.

Home from home relaxed atmosphere with top class food, accommodation and service. The recently refurbished bedrooms are quirky and classy mixing traditional and modern decor. The owners have impeccable taste. The cosy log fires are very welcoming and the Xmas decorations tastefully done. The Scottish breakfast is the best and served on a hot plate. Parking is a luxury too. We stayed for 2 nights, wish we could stay longer. The staff are attentive and really friendly. We will be back very soon.

This is just fabulous. Really talented young team who have created a gorgeous homely space. Fires to warm ourselves beside in the bar when we arrived on a dreich Scottish winter day. The restaurant is just as cosy and the food an absolute treat, save yourself for breakfast though! Loved it.

I just had my birthday here and just such a great team and my sea bass with mussels and veggies was so delicious. My partner had beef and I also had an amazing dessert… this team know what they’re doing and it’s excellent. A happy day and great service and kindness. All the Xmas decorations are up and it’s so cosy. The Christmas tree switch on was the other night and they handed out the best mulled wine and mince pies, so kind 🥰
