Hotel Kvarner Palace

From beginning to end everything was perfect. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist, our bags were taken discreetly and deposited in the room. We did the walking tour of Crikvenica and learned much from our knowledgeable guide. The food was great, dinner as well as the plentiful breakfast buffet. I particularly enjoyed all the fish variations in the evening. Service was very friendly and competent. Our room was facing the sea, so we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the large balcony. All very clean and well maintained. The highlight was the 25m salt water pool. Loved it. We also used the spa area, enjoyed the steam room/sauna. All in all a very relaxing stay. We’ll be back!

This was our 7th time staying at Kvarner Palace, and it keeps getting better every time. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant, with a peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. This time I needed to follow a strict dietary protocol, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything easy for me. The receptionist, Mrs Anita Miocic was extremely professional and helpful, both when making the reservation and later when we discussed my special diet. At the restaurant, Mrs. Stani took wonderful care of me, making sure I received my green smoothie every morning and delicious cruciferous vegetables at dinner. Both of them were so warm, attentive, and thoughtful — it really made me feel cared for and at home. We always feel at home here, and this time was no exception — everything was just perfect. I can truly enjoy the beauty of this place while taking care of my health, and that means so much to me. Thank you to everyone at Kvarner Palace — especially Anita and Mrs. Stani — for another unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to come back next year again!

We had an amazing time here. A family of 4 with two older teen boys. Mostly geared towards German travellers but we were made to feel more than welcome. Our room requirements (a twin room) was no trouble. The meal times are holiday friendly (breakfast until 11am), the grounds are immaculate and the general vibe is quiet, calm and high standards. The Manager is there daily to oversee this. The customer service from all staff is very high. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants & bars within a 5 min walk along with the beach and the resort centre only a 15 min walk further.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Will definitely go back! Just close enough to the beach to feel you are there, but with a very nice feeling of semi-exclusive privacy too. The management obviously are very meticulous, and that is reflected throughout the entire hotel, and in the great attitudes and diligence of the staff as well.

Best hotel I’ve been to in Europe. Will be returning when I have my wedding and host it here. 10/10

My wife and I have been coming to this hotel for years, mostly because of the location, but as another and very important factor, I would single out the hospitality and friendliness of the employees. Every year when we come to this already an extraordinary team, a few more new people join, but in the past years it has always been positive. We decided to spend our vacation here again this year and found out that there have been some changes in its administration and that they got a new deputy director. Unfortunately, this is seen on the workers. For the first time, we felt a negative atmosphere among employees and we heard complaints from many. I am sorry that this hotel is losing its charm of relationship between guests and employees. We also heard that they are forbidden to have deeper contact with the guests, which is very unusual because many of our friends, including us, already at the entrance ask about some dear people who work there. My wife and I witnessed an unpleasant situation on our last day where we heard the new supervisor lady yelling at her employee for coming to the workplace outside of working hours. All the guests around us were also negatively suprized. Unfortunately, we didn't return to the hotel after that, so we didn't have a chance to tell this to Frau Tiefenbacher, but we really hope that the situation will calm down by next season. As for the hotel itself, as always, bravo to the workers, cleanliness and friendliness. Especially bravo to the chef for the excellent food.
