Croydon Hotels with Bars

Shadian has convenient transportation. There are many restaurants and many Arabic delicacies in 10 minutes' walk. London Bridge is 15 minutes away by train. The hotel's breakfast buffet is delicious and has many varieties. The staff in Shadian are friendly.

The location is indeed a bit far from the city center, there isn't much transportation to the city center, and there aren't many restaurants nearby. Although there is a parking lot, the license plate recognition system at the entrance and exit gate seems a bit insensitive. I had to move back and forth several times before it could read my license plate and open the gate. The room is spacious, the bed is large and the mattress is soft, and the overall feeling is clean.

Booked this as I had an early flight out of Gatwick and needed two nights in London, this Holiday Inn was a fraction of the price of the one in London city and is relatively well connected being only a 10 minute walk to the Croydon station which serves both London and Gatwick via frequent train service. The check-in was easy and the staff was friendly and polite. Rooms are basic, but clean- exactly what you want out of a short stay. Good value, especially when compared to some of the outrageous prices other Holiday Inns are charging these days. Would stay again.

Good location near to bus stops and walking distance to restaurants and shops. You can also take a bus or tram. Very convenient for East and West Croydon Stations. Very good value for money with breakfast included as I got an offer for £68. Will definitely stay there again

The reception staff were lovely. Room was a good size. The beds are amazing! I ended up oversleeping. The down sides were the water pressure and ventilation system. The hot water in the sink had a very slow flow and the show pressure was poor. The ventilation system did not work, however a portable heater was provided. The only problem with that was if it got too hot, there was no way of cooling the room. Besides all of that I would stay here again.

I have stayed here previously and I stay here because of the convenient location and I have usually been able to get the rooms for a good price. I clean the rooms myself to be able to feel comfortable. I have included a picture of the filthy wipes from cleaning surfaces. This trip was horrendous due to noise and vibrations- the last time I complained about vibrations and the manager attended offering extra pillows to help this. This time there was what appeared to be people talking to me in the bathroom which made me feel like I was being watched and there was vibrations in the bed waking me up and preventing me from sleeping. I contacted the police and I want to warn solo female stayers about this and I am asking for people to come forwards if they have experienced similar.
