Gettysburg Battlefield Bed & Breakfast Inn

Peaceful, secluded location minutes from the battlefield. Excellent staff and service. Charming, rustic decor. Breakfasts were delicious and the morning history presentations were educational. A wonderful experience overall. We stayed in Graham's Artillery Room in the original building built in 1809, the birth year of Abraham Lincoln.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient! We stayed as a family in two rooms (March-Wolff and Houghtelin’s Hideaway). Each room was very clean and well-stocked with bath amenities. The common rooms were perfect for having a cookie and coffee to wind down. The breakfasts were incredible, and the staff went out of their way to ensure our youngest (8 months old) had foods he could eat as well. The history presentations were perfect to set the stage for our day, and every staff member made us feel like we were “home.” It is the perfect balance of a historical home with modern conveniences. Thank you for making our family vacation a memorable one — highly recommend!

My husband and I have just returned from our destination wedding in Gettysburg at the Battlefield Bed & Breakfast. From the beginning, Connie was extremely helpful in the planning of this trip and always prompt in her response's. When our small group arrived at the beautiful and sprawling property we were amazed at the gardening and landscaping and the welcoming staff. The size of our group filled the farmhouse and my husband and I stayed in the Tack Room. Each room was beautiful in its decor and cleanliness. They supplied us with EVERY need and allowed us to “set up shop” in the gathering areas and overtake the house. The first evening there we had a wonderful experience with a storyteller that we all enjoyed. Each morning they offered us a history lesson then served us breakfast. They accommodated special food requests beyond belief and offered home made cookies everyday. The chef delivered the most delicious breakfasts. Steve Gunlock was one of our historians and he brought history to life with the artifacts he brought with him and the ones that he sent home with us. When the weather challenged our initial plans, Connie assisted in changing from our initial course with great ease!! We cannot thank the staff at Battlefield Bed & Breakfast (with special thanks to JD!!) enough for some wonderful days that none of us will ever forget! We will definitely try to come back again soon!!!!

The best part of the stay, is the whole experience! The rooms are comfy, cozy and clean! The breakfast each day is different but all delicious! The staff treat you like family kind n generous with their time! A great place to stay and enjoy the food, shopping and history of beautiful Gettysburg PA

My husband and I went to Gettysburg for the first time and stayed in the lovely historic Tack Room! The room and all the amenities are superb! The delectable breakfasts and treats, informative history lessons, restaurant recommendations, ghost stories, and animals made it a fabulous three days! We cannot wait to come back!

Every aspect of this stay was the absolute best we could have expected. We looked forward to the breakfasts every morning and the history lessons were something I now miss starting my day with. The room was beautiful and so quiet for having other people staying there. Staying on a Calvary battlefield with a field hospital was just the coolest bonus. The staff was always wonderful and helpful for anything we needed and I want a cookie delivery asap.
