Hotels near Valle Maira, Cuneo

A last minute choice for a one night sleep, and following the reviews we finished at this hotel, which is right in the middle of Cuneo. The square is rather bare but finding a àrking spot for the night shouldńt be a problem. We managed to park inside our motorbike, where there were another 3 before us. The service both desk and breakfast was extremely polite and efficient. It seems, by the awards displayed, that it used to be a Best Western. Maybe it still is. The hotel seems recently renovated. The room is not cozy as such, a bit “airport” style, but very well appointed and excellent bathroom, which is not that common in Italy unfortunately. The double bed was very confortable and the room very quiet. Not much more to ask from a hotel really. The price is a bit steep but it was high season and a last minute option. I certainly recommend it both as a base for exploring or for a single night.

My wife and I stayed here two nights in late May, ‘23. We were driving from southern France to northwestern Italy and wanted a pleasant place to break up the trip. Cuneo turned out to be a good choice and the Superga was an very good place to stay. We recommend it highly and would not hesitate to stay there again – it is a well-located, well-managed, and very comfortable hotel. The Superga is just a short walk to the main square and is right across the street from the indoor market. Free public parking is available not far away, easily doable with rolling luggage. It is possible to park in front of the hotel to drop off or pick up luggage, but not on market days when the entire street as well as the square is filled with vendors, The market is quite something, by the way, and if your stay coincides with it, be sure to stroll through. We checked out the day of the market, and although the street is closed to traffic, we found it to be no problem to roll our luggage to the parking area. There are also a number of restaurants nearby, including one just off the main avenue leading to the square called Deco, which we highly recommend for inventive and well-presented dishes, reasonably priced and with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The lobby is modern and attractive, with a self-service espresso machine. Our room (#122) was large and attractive, with a comfortable king-sized bed, two night stands with outlets, and upholstered reading chair, a desk, coffee maker, tv, and an open closet area with shelves and a safe. Wifi was very good in the room. The bathroom was good sized with a shower and bidet. No counter space, however. We opted for the 5 euro breakfast which was very good – fruit, eggs, waffles, pancakes, juice, homemade baked goods. Definitely a bargain. All in all the Superga is an excellent choice for Cuneo.

Piccolo hotel a cinque minuti dal centro storico di Cuneo. Vicinissimo a servizi essenziali quali stazione FFSS ed ospedale. È quasi nelle immediate adiacenze di una trafficata arteria viaria ma la sua posizione lo rende assolutamente tranquillo e silenzioso. Le camere sono comodissime, con arredi nuovi e funzionali e, cosa importantissima, pulitissime; non un granello di polvere. In dotazione della camera in televisore di grandi dimensioni montato con staffa telescopica a muro che lo rende fruibile in modo eccezionale. Presente Netflix. Colazione compresa nel prezzo di buona qualità e quantità. Abbastanza comodo il parcheggio in strada nei dintorni della struttura: non ho utilizzato un garage a pagamento nelle immediate vicinanze. Personale gentilissimo. In sintesi una bella esperienza che ha reso piacevolissimo il soggiorno di una notte. Dovessi tornare a Cuneo soggiornerò ancora presso questo hotel.

Nel momento in cui ho prenotato non pensavo di trovare una struttura curata in tutti i minimi particolari. Stanze ampie, pulitissime, personale molto cordiale, colazione ottima. Cose da migliorare? Difficile trovarne quando una struttura e’ così ben gestita. Posso solo che fare i complimenti su tutto e ringraziare per l’accoglienza e il trattamento.
