Bandabou Breeze Curacao

We spent 5 nights in a wonderful, neat, cozy and clean apartment with the most amaizing view. Witnessed the colourful sunrise behind the hills from our porch in a quiet environment. Perfect check-in and -out, everything was well organized. Located near some nice beaches in the green heart of Curacao, this is an awesome place to stay!

The place is run down and the current manager is leaving at the end of the month. The mattress in unit 1 was terrible. The internet was very slow and often failed. The lack of mosquito screen's resulted in my wife suffering from bites every day and night. The saving grace was the pool area. A change of ownership may improve this location however I would not recommend this hotel until some major changes are made. The current managers were great in making us as comfortable as possible.

We just returned from spending 9 nights at beautiful Bandabou Breeze. Karin and Jeroen greeted us inside the secure courtyard and then Jeroen gave us a tour of the property. We had booked the 1 bedroom apartment but were upgraded to a bungalow with a lovely patio and view. Jeroen gave great recommendations for local shopping, dining and beaches. Marfa's Good Hangout is only 1.5 km away and has live music on the weekend. Whenever we wanted any information Jeroen was quick to reply using Whatsapp. We opted to pay for breakfast the first morning after we arrived. It was very good and plentiful with an amazing view from the main building's patio. The rest of our stay we made use of the very practical kitchen. We really liked the location as it was close to many nice beaches for snorkeling. We drove to Willemstad twice and even that wasn't far, but how long it took depended on the time of day. After a day out in the sun we used the pool onsite a few times. It was quite refreshing. We used the A/C ( it's just in the bedroom) about 8 hours each night and it only cost $38 for our 9 night stay. Bandabou Breeze felt like our home away from home. Jeroen and Karin were so friendly and helpful. It was a quiet relaxing peaceful spot. We loved it!

We just returned from 4 wonderful days at the Bandabou Breeze in Curacao. The owner Jeroen was extremely attentive. He met us personally upon arrival and toured the resort with us. During our stay he checked in several times to ensure we had everything we needed, including great recommendations for things to do around the island, the best beaches and good restaurants. The resort was quiet, peaceful and had beautiful views. Our bungalow had a large lanai, was private and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the breeze and watching the beautiful Curacao birds. You cant go wrong booking at Bandabou Breeze. It was a great get-away!

I just want to say that my husband and I hadn’t taken a vacation in 35 years and we chose the natural curaçao for our first trip. We had an incredible experience and chose to do it again this year and we were not disappointed. The manager Gabby was cordial and accommodating. We had a wonderful relaxing time and the barbecue was spectacular with all sorts of wonderful experiences for the palate and interaction with the other guests. Such a wonderful experience in itself. When you’re considering a place to stay and have never been there before??? This is the place to be because Gabby made our stay and our return stay wonderful!! We had no reservations to return to the place where we rekindled our relationship and found an ultimate relaxation and reunion to our 35 anniversary!!! The masseuse was the best and you can’t get anything better than the quiet of the nature preserve that surrounded us in the beautiful terrain on the country side that surrounded us. If you need to extract yourself from crazy and hustle bustle? This is the place you want to be and Gabby is the person that can make it happen for you!!

This was our first time visiting Curacao and we completely felt in love with this beautiful island. We booked this mini resort not really knowing if we were going to like it, but as soon as we got there, we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful it was, To top it all up, one of the managers (Jeremy) told us that they were upgrading our room to a bungalow. This mini resort is in the middle of nature. The view from the beautiful pool area is just breathtaking. it is simply put, a small piece of heaven. It is very relaxing and peaceful. While there, we got to see many different types of births and this experience made our stay even more pleasant. This resort is also very closed to many of the beautiful beaches, and near great restaurants. I highly recommend this place. We will for sure return there in the near future. I most also mention how friendly and amazing the managers Jeremy and his wife Gabby are.
