Everything was great! I will write that the hotel really tries to make guests feel at home. The quality of food and drinks is perfect, many fish and seafood dishes. Perfect for families with little children. Enjoyed the live music evenings, great singer Mario. Staff members are friendly and helpful. The infrastructure of the territory is thought out. Beach towels for an additional rental fee. You can also buy it locally. The hotel has a shop that has everything. Lots of sunbeds by the pools and on the beach. A large area by the sea. Sandy beach (gravel). There is a bus from the hotel to Pizza town, 10€ ticket for both ways. Hotel far from other small towns with shops, restaurants. You need a car if you want to visit other beaches or towns as there is no public transport.

Positives: The pool is visually appealing and features warm water, making it very enjoyable. The hotel rooms are spacious, nice, and clean. However, the showers in the bathrooms are quite small, which can be inconvenient if you need to shower your child. The sports and activities available were fun and enjoyable. The walk to the beach is pleasant, as it goes through a beautiful pine forest. The croissants served at breakfast were delicious. Negatives: The hotel is not very English-friendly. The food quality needs improvement. Most of the food is served cold and the majority of dishes are not labeled, making it difficult to know what they are. There is nothing of interest nearby, as the resort is located in a remote area. The evening entertainment is repetitive and exclusively in Italian, which may not be suitable for non-Italian speakers. The children's disco seemed more like a showcase for the animators' dancing skills than a dedicated event for the kids. The beach is not very close to the hotel, and there is no foot shower available when exiting the beach. An incident on the day of our checkout was extremely rude. Although checkout is by 10:00 a.m., a cleaner entered our room without knocking at 9:15 a.m. to remind us of the checkout time. I was undressed, and she did not apologize. I initially thought it was a mistake, but she returned at 9:30 a.m. with the same reminder, which I found very inappropriate. The animation team lacked enthusiasm and did not engage guests in activities. The lifeguards were inattentive, particularly at the slides

Travelled in June 2024 with family, great entertainment based resort on the seaside of Curinga/Acconia. Well organised, we fully enjoyed the experience and holiday too, beautiful rooms and amenities. Great authentic Italian food and premium drinks served at all the times, definitely recommend the All-inclusive formula. Live music at evenings and night with local band (bravo and applauses to all the guys of the band!) Marvellous “fritto di Caterina” and beach bar walking distance from the resort. Round of applauses for the kids club organisation “Falky” with everyday different activities entertained by the lovely staff, in particular Lilly, Ilenia and Abril who were absolutely fantastic and attentive towards the little ones! Our child loved the atmosphere and the kids club staff. Amazing staff, from reception to chefs and waiters that effortlessly prepared everything to perfection on daily basis, in both of the main restaurant and in the “Pentolo and Grill”… you must try the outstanding “Paccheri with seafood” Well done also to housekeeping team for the cleaning and organisation of the rooms! Definitely RECOMMEND and looking forward to go back!

VILLAGGIO CON FORMULA ALL INCLUSIVE davvero consigliato. UNICA PECCA IL BABYCLUB poco coinvolgente. Migliorabile.

Firstly, this is not an English friendly hotel! Very few staff members speak english, very little food is labelled in English, and no tours are in English. The evening entertainment is also not in English. A few lovely members of staff spoke English to us and made us feel welcome, but I would not recommend this to English families. To start with the good things: Hotel grounds are absolutely lovely and very well maintained. The pool looks visually very nice but is very cold! The hotel rooms are really nice and very clean. The entertainment staff and bar staff are lovely and friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. I would like to say a personal thank you to these staff that made us feel welcome, took the time to sit and have a good conversation and a laugh with us. The sports and activities on offer were fun and enjoyable, however given the size of this hotel, more frequent activities and games could have been organised. Perhaps water polo? At 5pm there is 1 sports tournament lasting 45 mins. They could do with more frequent organised sports throughout the day. The evening entertainment was good, however if you are staying longer than a week you have to watch the same shows again Now for the not so good things: Firstly the food! The pizza station and some pasta dishes is the only decent food they have to offer. All food is served cold, despite it appearing to be in a hot holding? Majority of food is not labelled leaving you questioning what it actually is. Avoid if you have an allergy as you will have no chance finding out if it is safe for you. Not to mention no food is covered in the buffet, meaning flies and wasps are landing all over it. The food also becomes very repetitive with breakfast every morning been identical. A bit of variety would of been nice Secondly, I would not recommend this hotel if you wanted to explore out and around Calabria. There is nothing to see anywhere near by! We were advised by the hotels trip organiser to book a coach trip to tropea, he sold the trip well to us we decided to go. He forgot to mention that this hotel is the first pick up stop on route. So a 50 min drive to tropea turned into a 3 hour drive stopping off at 9-10 hotels on route! Not to mention there is no toilet on the coach, and the coach driving was extremely reluctant to allow a toilet stop. After a painful coach trip, you get to walk around the back alleys of a town with not much to see for 3 hours. And then back on the coach for another 3 hours drive back. The drinks on offer are very limited but are nice. They could do with offering a larger range of drink choices The spa offers a very nice and relaxing massage. However I prefer to be informed prior to me stripping down that a male would be giving me a massage. Maybe this is just an English culture thing though? Finally, a point for hotel management: if you are taking large bookings of school children and work groups, maybe consider ensuring they don’t overtake the hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our very busy Calabria and Sicily tour. The grounds are amazing and well kept. The pools are also, very well kept. The food was repetitive. I felt like I was at a cafeteria for some reason. The pasta selection was good but the meat sauce was salty. I also found the ribs and sausages salty as well. Not sure why they put so much salt in the food here. The beach is not sand, it is rocks so you need flip flops for sure. Also, very difficult to go into the sea. There is a drop off and the water had big waves. I didn't see anyone go in....too dangerous! The entertainment was good as well. The team did a great job singing. The band after the show was excellent!!!! We enjoyed and danced until they were done for the night. Great job!!! I would go back for sure but I hope they read this review and hopefully other people felt the same way about too much salt in food.

Very pleasant stay. Most of the infrastructure is very good, especially the pools which are very large and well organised. The best part is the area devoted to rackets sports, with 4 tennis courts, a couple of padel courts and several ping pong tables. It is very well managed by Alessandro, a capable tennis and padel coach, who was very welcoming and engaging with us and everyone else interested, creating a most pleasant environment for rackets sport players of any ability. He made a very positive difference to our holiday. The sea is very beautiful, as expected. The shows in the evening are of excellent quality. The two areas which can do with improvements are: 1) the food, since the quality is fine but more like a good-quality canteen than proper Italian-style cousine; 2) the rooms are ok but quite Spartan with sound isolation quite poor, which matters as you can hear everything outside your room and can affect your sleep. My 10 years old son loved this holiday and really did not want to leave, which makes clear this is an excellent resort for kids.

This is the fourth consecutive summer for me and my family in Falkensteiner Calabria. We are a family, our daughter is now 13. In all these years, I have found all the services here always of very good level, and I would underline that most of services here are for free. I would also say thank you to all the team for the fantastic effienciency in making a very enjoyable holyday week for my family!

Not sure what planet those bad reviews came from but after staying there for seven night with my wife and three kids (3,5,7) we had only great experiences and will be back next year! Special shout out to the whole falky club team. You are amazing. My kids talk about you still. Also to Allessandro the tennis coach. I learnt more from him in three lessons than with my regular coach in 3 months 🤣. The lovely ladies cleaning up at breakfast. Thankyou. And finally the beautiful people at the bar. You made our holiday. See you soon guys ❤️
