We had an excellent stay at Hostal El Grial. The staff was extremely helpful and super friendly, greeting us with tea on arrival and accommodating an early check-in. Before our trek to Machu Picchu, they prepared breakfast for us, even with an early 3am departure, and offered to store our extra luggage. The hostel is in a wonderful neighborhood with many great restaurants, and we always felt safe walking around, even at night. Breakfast was simple but good, with freshly made eggs available each day. The rooms were comfortable, with firm mattresses. Although some reviews mentioned noise, we did not experience this. The street outside is quiet at night, and any noise was limited to occasional footsteps in the corridor. Overall, Hostal El Grial provided a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it.

Very accommodating staff and a very comfortable bed, I had everything I needed for a fair price and they offer free breakfast in the mornings. Hot showers and I wasn’t cold at night. The location is amazing! I will be back :)

A wonderful “ bed & breakfast” for younger international travelers with 8 immaculate small rooms in a historic building. The staff is always helpful & friendly ( a little Spanish is helpful to guests). Love being in the Hip “ San Blas “ area.. the street is lined with little restaurants . Vey good value .. simple accommodation with private baths. Good breakfast. Request second floor.Amira makes every guest feel special .. she can assist with tours, taxis, reservations. “ Amazing Amira”…

Love to return to Cuzco and this place. Quiet street, comfortable lodgings and close to the central square. Restaurants aplenty in the same or surrounding streets and of course tours can be organised in and by the hotel!

After spending 6 weeks in the Amazon I planned to do some travel around Cusco and wanted to find a reasonably priced hostel with private rooms. I found El Grial through *********** with a private en-suite room for a great price. When I arrived the quality exceeded my expectation. This place feels more like a hotel than hostel. The building itself is really good. I was a bit concerned about the noise as the place is open plan and the doors are very thick but this area in San Blas is really quiet and like I said, this is more like a hotel than a hostel (not loud and no late partying in the common area). This place is incredibly clean. The room is tiered, bed is made land towels replaced everyday. The staff are absolutely wonderful too. Super helpful and friendly… extremely tolerant of my awful attempts at Spanish. I liked this place so much I decided to rebook following my Inca Trail trek. The staff were more than happy to store my bags for the 4 days and had them waiting for me in my room when I returned. Highly recommend this place, especially when considering the price

Mi experiencia en el Hostal El Grial fue maravillosa. Está ubicado a solo unos minutos de la Plaza San Blas, lo que lo convierte en una excelente opción para explorar el centro de Cusco. La ubicación es tranquila, pero al mismo tiempo cerca de todos los lugares de interés turístico. Las habitaciones son cómodas y bien decoradas, con un ambiente acogedor que me hizo sentir como en casa. La limpieza es impecable y los servicios de las habitaciones son muy completos, con todo lo necesario para descansar después de un día de turismo. La cama es cómoda y la calefacción, muy necesaria en las noches frías de Cusco, funciona perfectamente. Sin lugar a dudas, recomiendo el Hostal El Grial a cualquiera que busque una estancia tranquila, cómoda y con un servicio excepcional en Cusco. ¡Volveré en mi próxima visita!

Fiz reserva no Hostal El Grial, pois estava em viagem com meus pais na cidade de Cusco, Peru. Na noite anterior à reserva, uma pessoa de nome Amira me mandou mensagem informando que um hóspede passou mal e resolveu ficar mais tempo hospedado. Assim, ela me perguntou se eu poderia me hospedar em outro hotel, de mesmo proprietário. Como as acomodações do outro hotel eram inferiores, respondi que não gostaria de trocar minha reserva. Assim, Amira me disse que eu poderia cancelar minha reserva, e que ela não teria acomodação para mim. Dessa forma, fiquei sem ter onde me hospedar, em pleno feriado, com meus pais que são idosos. Fui forçada a cancelar minha reserva, pois o hotel não quis mudar de quarto o hóspede que prolongou sua estada! Achei completa falta de respeito pelo cliente, e acho que um hotel que faz isso com seus clientes não deveria funcionar!

Personal de recepción super amable, simpatica y con una sonrisa siempre al recibirte. Pendientes si tienes alguna excursión para darte tu desayuno para llevar. Desayuno el cual está muy bien, yo pedí una vez papaya para mi desayuno me la dieron en un bote con su cuchara con un buena porción lo que me pareció excelente y disfrute comerla en mi tour. Limpieza 11/10, un plus es la limpieza de este lugar, siempre limpio y te arreglan tu habitación todos los días con toallas limpias y secas eso se agradece muchísimo. Pisos de madera pero que no suenan para nada así que puedes caminar sin molestar a tu pareja. Muy silencioso aunque hay gente que sale muy temprano no hay problema con el ruido. Habitación con una hermosa vista a la ciudad, ducha espectacular, habitación con iluminación natural todo el día, habitación super acojedora. LO SUPER RECOMIENDO mi tercera vez visitando cusco y es lugar que más que me ha gustado. Gracias a todo el equipo de este lugar por hacer una estancia acojedora.
