Mercure Danang French Village Hotel Review Mercure Danang French Village is in a fantastic location, being the only hotel on the hill. Everything you need—restaurants, a market, the theme park, and attractions—is within walking distance, making it very convenient for visitors. The hotel’s interior design is simple, so don’t expect a very modern or luxurious room. It fits the theme of the French Village but may feel a bit dated for those who prefer contemporary decor. However, the biggest downside is the front desk service. When we arrived to check in, there was a large crowd, but no clear signage or staff directing guests where to queue. I initially lined up in the wrong place and only realized after 10 minutes that I had to start over in the correct queue. Despite peak hours, only two counters were open, which resulted in a long wait of around 20-30 minutes. If there’s a large family ahead of you, expect to wait even longer. Another inconvenience is that guests have to carry their luggage up the hill to the hotel. Since I was traveling with my 5-year-old, I was lucky to have just one suitcase, but for families with more bags, this could be quite a hassle. Overall, while the location is unbeatable and convenient for exploring Ba Na Hills, the check-in process and front desk service could be much better managed.

This hotel is great and use of the waterpark and hot springs and dinosaur park and gardens it really is amazing would stay again would be great with kids or grandkids, so much to see would stay for 4 nights next time 2 not enough. So much beauty and fun, staff could learn more English or is more Vietnamese but it’s fabulous

+ 1. Great location, if you’re looking for a hotel not near the beach. 2. The service is AMAZING. Very comfortable and smooth check in and check out. Everyone was very friendly and nice. 3. The room is big, spacious and clean,with all the necessary amenities. 4. Great breakfast, with a lot of varieties. Cons: (I would like to say, that these cons are if I’m being super picky, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel). I wouldn’t recommend their “seafood bbq”. There was not much seafood, but for the price, I can’t complaint too much. I struggled with elevators. The key seems to not always work. 9,5/10 Overall great stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

The TMS in Da Nang is truly lovely. The service and amenities are top tier and you can’t beat the location. All of the staff were beyond courteous and helpful. The rooftop restaurant isn’t to be missed. You will enjoy beautiful views of the beach and the food is delicious. Chef Huang is a master chef. The room was nice and spacious with a breathtaking view of the beach from the balcony. I would definitely staff there again.

The location and facilities were very good. It was a family trip, and there was a washer dryer and kitchen, so it was easy to eat delivery food. However, the pool was messy and cold, the elevator took too long, and especially the lady in charge of eggs and rice noodles at the breakfast restaurant looked uncomfortable every morning. It's hard because one person is in charge of more than two things. It seems that the hotel needs improvement. There are too few breakfast items

Positives: the hotel is nice, the staff is polite, in a decent location, not too far from most of the major attractions in the city. The spa staff was awesome and very accommodating. Negatives: the hotel is too big for our tastes, 37 floors, and the elevators are really slow compared to other hotels. The room we had was ”the best in the hotel” but it was decent at best. Much smaller than expected. Has a kitchenette but comes with zero utensils or pots/pans, no microwave either. The patio had no furniture to sit on to enjoy the view. No automated bidet like in 99% of other ”upscale” hotels throughout Asia. Breakfast is decent, but there is nothing to brag about.

My stay at Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel in the Deluxe King Room was fantastic. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable king-sized bed and beautiful views of the city and surrounding area. The decor was modern and elegant, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with any requests. I enjoyed the hotel's amenities, especially the pool and spa facilities, which provided a nice escape after a day of exploring. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to both local and international tastes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel for anyone visiting Da Nang!

I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel for three nights and four days. This is a five-star property located beautifully by the beach, offering breathtaking natural surroundings. Despite our stay not being during the summer season and the weather being slightly cloudy, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. One of the standout experiences was the Sleepy Massage at the spa. It was exceptional—therapists tailored the massage to focus on areas with pain or tension, which was incredibly thoughtful and added great value to our stay. The hotel’s food offerings were impressive overall. However, there were notable service issues, particularly at the beachside restaurant. The time it took for orders to be delivered was excessively long—30 to 40 minutes for simple items like a smoothie or beer. On one occasion, after waiting 30 minutes for a coffee, we were informed it wasn’t available that day. These delays and miscommunications significantly impacted our experience. Another area needing improvement is staff communication. While the staff was kind and well-meaning, their English proficiency was insufficient, leading to frequent misunderstandings. This is an important area for a hotel of this caliber to address, especially given its international clientele. The rooms, at 42–43 square meters, were spacious and adequate. However, some furnishings, such as curtains and chairs, appeared worn and outdated. For a Hyatt property, this was disappointing. One policy-related issue stood out—staff adhered strictly to hotel rules without considering guest concerns or providing flexible solutions. For instance, instead of prioritizing guest comfort, policies seemed to take precedence, making the experience less relaxing and enjoyable than expected. Lastly, we dined at Le Petite, the hotel’s animation dining restaurant. While the concept was entertaining, the repetitive nature of the animations, applied universally to all menus, made it feel less engaging. Enhancing this experience with tailored or varied animations could elevate it significantly. In summary, while the location, massage services, and food quality met expectations, the service delays, outdated furnishings, language barriers, and inflexible policies detracted from the experience. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could offer a truly five-star stay. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

The hotel and amenities are nice but it’s located in a more quieter part of town. If you prefer the quieter vibes then this is the place for you. The breakfast was decent and there was plenty of parking available for bikes too. You also get free 30 mins steam and sauna per traveller where you get the steam/spa all to yourselves (albeit a bit small)

Great location, view of Han river and city. Close to shops and Da Nang’s must visits. Clean room, great breakfast. Sunrise view from my room!
