We had a wonderful experience at Dalen Hotell where we found peace and felt taking cared of by the staff. The restaurant was a culinary experience, and the wine selection and service were absolutely fantastic. Dalen Hotell offers something in a class of its own. Would highly recommend visiting this historic hotel!

The Dalen Hotel was a delightful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. The staff were friendly and professional. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Access to local hikes, sauna and boat trip were superb.

I had the most amazing time during my wedding at Dalen Hotel. It felt like stepping into a romantic tale, like Pride and Prejudice. The food was amazing, and it truly felt like every staff member strived to make it into a wonderful experience - which they very much succeeded at doing.

We expected a lot more from a five star hotel. The bathrooms were old, no bathrobes or coffee or tea in the room. Boring breakfast that we had to send back because bread uneatable. Too young/inexperienced staff didn’t give a genuine impression of the beautiful place.
