AAnonymous UserCame out with my family and stayed for a few days. It was very comfortable. It was very convenient to go to the corridor and the beach. You can also cook for yourself. The vegetable market is very close and it is convenient to buy vegetables. The boss is very warm and approachable. I felt like I made two new friends when I stayed for a few days. I usually feel uncomfortable staying in a hotel, but this small courtyard makes me feel very comfortable, like at home. It's a pity that the vacation is gone, otherwise I would stay for a few more days.

XXiiiiYThis is my second time in Dali. I highly recommend this B&B!!! It's so great! First of all, the service. They are very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. Whether you need something during the day or chopsticks in the early morning, you only need to send a WeChat. Your boyfriend won't reply you in seconds, but the girls and brothers at the front desk will definitely reply you in seconds! Let's talk about the facilities and environment. It's simply amazing. Lingxi and Yunxi on the fourth and fifth floors, one elevator per household. Who knows the feeling of Erhai Lake as soon as you open your eyes and open the door? Let me say secretly that the bathtub on the fourth floor is bigger than the one on the fifth floor. Haha. Finally, I must praise Saipan! It's so cute. I ordered a drink on the first floor in the afternoon and played with Saipan. There is a kind of life called Dali! I really recommend this B&B. Whether it's service or convenient facilities, it's really comparable to a five-star hotel (ps: Of course, if you are **, then just ignore what I said. I suggest you find the reason from yourself)

FfoodietravelThe apartment is very clean and big. Very spacious and suitable for family. There's a full kitchen for if you want to cook or have a meal in the apartment. Washing machine is also available, which makes it
super convenient. The service was great from the staff. Although location was a bit confusing to find, the staff came out and led our driver to the right place for check in. You can see Cangshan and erhai from the apartment. There's not a lot of food places around as the apartment is on a small mountain apartment complex. However ordering take out is very convenient from your room. Overall a great stay.

MMimi_Wang1This was our only homestay-style hotel during the entire trip. It’s as good as some other well known 5 star hotels. I’m pretty happy about it! The entire hotel gives off a very warm and homey feel.
Our room is new and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable!!! I also love the Le Labo shower products!
The service is good and feel very personal. Staff are friendly and helpful! There’s no coffee in the room but staff will make you coffee and bring it to you upon request. And many other things they will help you.
The location is convincing yet very quiet it’s also reachable by car.
One downside is that the room is a little small and lacks storage and surfaces to put things on. My friend and I are on a 1-month hiking trip, so we had a lot of things. Space is probably okay with people with fewer things.

On the day I arrived, my luggage was broken. He was able to advise me where I could buy a new one, and he also took care of my luggage and brought it to my room when the room was ready. He always informed me and took good care of me.
The other staffs were also very helpful. They are able to communicate with me well, and provided other services, such as breakfast, called a taxi to my destination, opened and shut the car's door for me. It showed a lot of care.
I was very impressed. If I come to visit here again, I will definitely choose Pullman Hotel.

The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality.
The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility.
A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels.
The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless.
The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family.
Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

GGuest UserThe best small courtyard to stay in when you come to Dali. The courtyard is very beautiful and the location is excellent. It is at the south gate of Dali Ancient Town, next to the bed sheet art area. There are markets on Saturdays and Sundays. The boss is very nice and will provide some free travel guides, recommend some places to eat, and make tea for us. It was a good experience. I highly recommend it 😁😁
