What can I say - this hotel is perfect! Location is superb - accessible by car and just by the entrance of Shuanglang town. Staying in the guimi room on the top floor means “VIP access” to the most amazing sunsets and sunrise!! If you’re looking for a place to have the ultimate 发呆 experience, this is it. It’s also a super smart room with several lighting modes. Also bright enough for ladies to do our make-up!! They even gave sheet face mask and steam eye masks! Drinks in the mini bar, quality toiletries, thick fluffy towels, comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel could consider installing a small railing by the sink to hang face towels. Highly recommended, worth every penny!

Quite honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in across my 20+ years of traveling around the globe. The rooms were absolutely amazing, state of the art technology, with beautiful seaviews and sunshine. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and amenities offered to us, and additionally what stood out the most was the top notch service that the staff provided to us. Afternoon tea time, breakfast, evening snack, and more, the staff were always very friendly and helpful to make us comfortable. A big thank you very much on behalf of our entire family, we 100% recommend this place to everyone coming to the Dali region.

Our 3 night stay was excellent. They property was beautiful, the room was superb with a great view, and the service was outstanding (thank you Yang Jun). Coffee was delicious too! Looking forward to going back there.

Beautiful views, perfect for photos. 精致海景下午茶with good coffee (pictured below) at no extra cost. But the most memorable thing is the warm hospitality, 服务很贴心❤️ Special mention to 小范,小凤 和 阿娇！Always ready to help, it was like nothing was too much trouble for them. I travelled with my little one this time, would love to come back if we want to stay in 双廊 again and book a 海景房。We booked the last minute so were not able to get a room with 海景. Our room was facing the street and it could be bit noisy, the hotel provides free disposal earbuds. Appreciates little attention to details like that. There is free parking nearby if you are driving. The staff are very helpful with luggage. There is laundry facility but we were not able to use it because the washing machine and dryer were occupied. A free photoshoot was included in the room (this is typical in 大理). I was initially a bit hesitant but glad we took up the free offer. There were absolutely no pressure to buy extra photos. Most importantly, my little one had fun (one of his free photo is shown below). Overall, very pleasant experience.

Location is right at the entrance to the old town, which is very convenient. Room is big and clean with nice view. Service is excellent. The staffs are friendly.

War-damaged hotel # I will never believe in internet celebrity homestays again #
To be honest, the service attitude of the guy at the front desk of the hotel is really good, but the hardware facilities are seriously inconsistent with the promotional pictures. I don’t understand why a hotel that has not been open for a long time can look so dirty and dilapidated.
The balcony is full of water, mosquitoes and corpses, the wall is cracked and peeling, and even the small recliner has been replaced with a small bench for punishment.
There is no toothbrush in the disposable toothbrush set box, there are stains and big shoe prints on the white wall, there is a circle of big yellow goose ripples on the white plush chair cover, the bath water is not hot (it can only be said to be warm, not hot at all, when I was blowing my hair, cold air came in through the door gap, and I caught a cold immediately today), the wall of the toilet is yellowed, the audio cable is half damaged, and there is a burst of smoke in the room! !
