First time to Dali as a Australian traveller and first time to China. Staying here was amazing; not only was the family so friendly and helpful, but They went out of their way many times to help me in my journey through the city, giving me directions, personal contacts and more supplies for all my travel needs.
Special thanks to Tutti for all her amazing work.
5 star service and 5 star hotel with the best garden and cute cat.

I will rate this hotel 5 star as location is just walking distance to South Gate of ancient city and so many eateries surrounding. The cleanliness of room and service is superb 👍👍 . This hotel is run by a family and also owner and they will help to arrange transportation and help rent a motorbike and explain how to travel and round the whole Er Hai (Lake) Will strongly recommend this hotel to everyone will travel Dali.

We had a lovely stay at Honglinge Inn. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, especially at night. The family that manages the place is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and quiet, even though it was only a short walk from the main street- great location. Be sure to check out the roof and pet the cat!

Clean, hot water, great friendly owners, great location (near south gate, fruit/vegetables market), convenient to take Didi (only short walk until main road), no view from window, only from corridor.

The room is very spacious and it had a very old vibes, perfect for those looking for some colour in their stays. The toilet door can't close fully so it gets abit cold. Very windy at night, can hear the howls through the cracks in the house.

The hosts are very welcoming. Cute cat at the front door waiting for your arrival. The room is clean and equipped with a heater for the winter nights. Good value for money!

I would rate this place 5 star for the location which super near to the South Gate. Not forgetting the hospitality and the cleanliness of this place. This place is run by a family. You really feel like home. Very quiet area and very safe. Owners lock the main door at night. But you want to move around late, just inform them earlier that you will be late. 2 wonderful kids here. My son had a great time with them as well. Tutti is so helpful speaks English. I will recommend my fellow Malaysian who visit Dali to consider this place to stay. For the price, this is considered good. No dogs only one beautiful cat. If I want to suggest this place to be better, I would suggest that the owner get someone to tidy your room when you are away. Fantastic stay.
