I was disappointed with the location initially, but after exploring the place on the 2nd day, I am happily satisfied that it is very conveniently situated to the place of our interest. It's just within walking distance to Erhai ecological corridor for biking. There is a bike rental shop (Qiqi) that rent mountain/race/road bike in the same vicinity. Food, fruits and convenient shops are nearby.
The hospitality services provided by the 2 ladies at the reception are outstanding. They are observant to our needs, serve us light refreshments in the night even without us asking. On the last day the staff helped us book a taxi, and we were in for a shock that the hotel footed the transport fee. My hubby is greatly impressed that we decide to return to this hotel in our future trip to Dali.

What a place! Was genuinely waiting for the bathtub and char to start singing to me like straight out of "beauty and the beast." After a very friendly welcome, I was shown my room and promptly relaxed. Morning sunrisevon the lake was spectacular, followed by a delightful breakfast and a cheery send-off. My room faced a construction site so a bit of extra dust on the balcony is forgiven. Would definitely stay again but next time bring a date!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Moss Lake Inn. It is a quiet hotel located on the lake. Our view every morning was absolutely stunning. Breakfast is a traditional Chinese breakfast with noodles and various dim sum. It was refreshing coming back in the evenings to a small snack from the hotel that generally included warm milk and fresh fruit. The bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff and very kind and will help you to the best of their abilities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My goal was to wake up every day and open my window and step outside and enjoy the view. I think I accomplished this staying here.
Area : It’s located in a village near the city center 20 minutes and about the same to the ancient town. It’s per dominantly a Muslim town , so you will find lots of BBQ and Halal eats. Also shops for simple basics are available. The town comes alive after 5:00 pm.
Food : You can order Weimai like McDonald’s and KFC for example, nothing western around. We got breakfast daily, as you can see it’s a set menu. But we enjoyed it , the options were plenty. Also, every afternoon they brought an afternoon snack , super nice and a great touch.
Room / Hygiene: The room we picked had the balcony, it was spacious the bed was comfortable. The stand alone bath was clean, and the bathrooms as well. Toiletries and slippers provided. The hotel can use some changing or cleaning of rugs and dust a bit on the corners. Over all it was good.
Transport : You need to get a taxi to go places , or take the bus. Not sure if it’s because it’s summer but getting a taxi was not very pleasant. I took the bus #2 in front of the village to go to the mall. Easy 2 RMB you can use your apple map.
Customer Service : The customer service was nice , the ladies were helpful in finding a place for COVID test. Our last day they arranged a driver , it was hard to get transportation.
Over all , it was a nice stay I only picked this hotel due to the view. If you want more action stay near the ancient town.

The room is right by the Erhai Lake, about 50 meters away. You can see Erhai Lake from the balcony, which is located inside the village. There is a rental point for Yunyou Changqi at the entrance of the village, which is very convenient. I would like to remind everyone not to rent a car outside if you want to ride around the sea, as you cannot enter the road around the sea. You can walk or take a taxi from the hotel to the cycling section, where there are shared electric bikes to ride. In fact, renting an electric bike to walk around the local village is a unique experience.

It was too early and it was not suitable, so the boss bought me breakfast.
The inn at 6:20 in the morning made me feel warm.
The heavy breakfast had three different flavors of bread and a milk.
On the last day, I caught a plane, and the boss called a car for me, and called breakfast for two again.
