Honestly can't think of a way do describe how incredibly friendly and helpful the owner is, such a lovely person! The hotel has a perfect location as it's near to the ancient town and not too far from the lake. The wifi worked perfectly. I can highly recommend!!!

If you want a comfortable, quiet and clean place, near the bus station that connects Dali ancient town from Dali city, also a place close to the entry of the old town, then Magnolia Inn is the perfect place.
The host is a little angel. She knows English and she was very helpful in so many ways. From helping us with food and drink suggestions to book a didi car to our next destination.
We will not forget our stay here and we will return.

This hotel was perfect for me. I liked that it was just outside the old city in a really cute neighborhood, it was super convenient. The best thing about it though id the host, DJ. She helped me so much even after I checked out she helped me book a bus from a different city. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely come stay here again the next time I’m in Dali!

Owner can speak English most convient for foreigners. Stay was friendly, hotel owner helped a lot and suggested good place to see and to eat. Place is very close to ancient city, around the hotel you will get ebike for rent, breakfast to eat early morning. Feel like home. Highly recommended for family.
