Wan He Yong Hao Lake View Hotel

Though we paid for breakfast, we were told no breakfast was served during check-in, so the breakfast fee was refunded. The hotel is not close to any cafe or restaurant; the closest one may be around 10 min walking distance. The shower and toilet are separated, and they are all in clear glass (photo attached). If you come as a couple, maybe it's ok to have this setting. But still, a bit of privacy with a tinted glass is not too much to ask; it's embarrassing and inconvenient to share a room like this with a friend. My friend in the other room has a clogged toilet, she had to switch to a new room. The ceiling of the shower seems to have mold. It seems that maintenance or cleaning are lacking. An ashtray can be found in a non-smoking room; it seems contradicting.

The hotel was relatively clean, however the bedsheets were not changed neither was the floor vacuumed during the 3 nights we stayed.

Wonderful location with beautiful views especially in the morning across the lake. Hotel staff was very helpful, be vary of road conditions, it may be necessary to ask hotel to pickup if carrying luggage when road is closed for outside traffic.

Location is good if you are coming from the railway station as it is within 10 minutes drive. Room facilities are adequate and rooms are clean. The front desk staff were very courteous and pleasantly provided us a free upgrade to the Lavish Sea-View Double Room on a higher floor, which had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains and did not give any noise issues even with the water promenade traffic.

Located at the bank of Erhai lake. This hotel easily met our requirements. nice breakfast. helpful staffs.
