Had the most pleasant stay at Yungu Guishu Inn! The hosts kindly upgraded our room and we couldn't be happier :"). The room was extremely spacious and it even had a balcony with a small lawn. The view from the balcony window was scenic and really beautiful. We could also see Cang Shan from the smaller windows facing the other side of the room, so that was really cool! The bed was comfortable and overall, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect:)
The inn is located very conveniently right along the main road, so the taxi could drop and pick us up easily. The inn is also within 3-5mins walking distance to and from Erhai Gate, which is also really near the main shopping and eating districts, which was also really convenient!
The hosts were also the nicest people who treated us with great hospitality. Before we even arrived, the hosts texted us via wechat to check in on us. Upon hearing that we didn't arrive with a concrete travel itinerary, the hosts also kindly recommended us places to go and wrote them down on post-its. Upon arrival, the hosts also kindly welcomed us with tea and refreshments, which we really appreciated! After coming back from a long day of travelling, the hosts also invited us to have even more tea with them, over which we accidentally chatted for hours until midnight 😂. My boyfriend and I are normally introverted and quiet people, so we're pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our conversations with the hosts! If you're looking for authentic local experiences, I think this is the best place you can stay in. :")
Overall, we had a really really wonderful stay and we'll totally come back again. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay at Dali the best part of our trip! Everything was perfect. ❤️

As someone who is picky about rooms, I am glad that I chose this B&B.
I was struggling for two or three days when choosing accommodation. I compared countless hotels, but I didn’t expect that I finally chose the right one. The boss was super nice and contacted me a day in advance and helped me with transportation problems. Because I was going to Kunming Airport and then transferred to the high-speed rail. I originally wanted to go from Kunming South. The boss in Dali told me that we need to go from Kunming Station to Kunming South, which is far away. Fortunately, I didn’t listen to Xiaohongshu. I listened to the boss’s words. During our stay, the boss would greet us every time we came in and out. He cared about whether we needed any help and was considerate when taking photos in the lobby. We made tea for us and had a different breakfast every day. It was nutritionally balanced and the most important thing was to wait until we arrived before we could prepare it. We could eat it hot every day. It was really heart-warming. The room was also very clean and the environment was quiet. There was a koi fish pond next to the window of our room. It was very comfortable to make a cup of tea in the room while basking in the sun and watching a group of fish in a daze. Finally, we checked out a day early because of something unexpected. The boss was very understanding and even helped us push our suitcases to the car before we left.
