Dali Old City Yueshanhai Resort

It was my first time in Dali. I searched for hotels and found this one by chance. It was really as good as the reviews said, great value for money. The hotel is very close to the ancient city, just over 10 minutes' walk away. There is also Dali University nearby and many delicious foods around. The night before I arrived, Xiaohe, the front desk clerk at the hotel, called me in advance and added WeChat in advance. He was very careful to send me the location of the hotel and the weather in Dali, and reminded me what clothes to bring for the trip. On the day of check-in, he kept sending various greetings on WeChat. When I arrived at the hotel, I was given a free upgrade to a room with a sea view. The view from the room was really great. I could enjoy the beautiful view of Erhai Lake while lying in the bathtub. The room facilities were also very good, and the WiFi and hot water were good. The original plan was to stay for one day, but I decided to stay again.

The room is spacious and quiet, the hotel has a beautiful environment, backed by Cangshan Mountain and overlooking Erhai Lake. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the staff is professional and friendly. After learning that the original room type was fully booked, he not only communicated and coordinated patiently, but also took the initiative to upgrade the suite for us free of charge, and also carefully arranged exquisite free afternoon tea, which added a surprise to the journey. The hotel is in an excellent location, a ten-minute walk to Dali Ancient Town, which allows you to avoid the hustle and bustle and is convenient for sightseeing at any time. Full marks for self-driving friendliness! There is a parking space downstairs from the guest room, so there is no need to go back and forth to the front desk to get a parking ticket. It is very friendly to guests with luggage. The room facilities are great news for detail-obsessed people: smart toilets, refrigerators, and the specially equipped soft-bristled toothbrush are especially commendable. Even my wife, who is picky about the quality of life, praised it. From service to hardware, you can feel the hotel's dedication everywhere. It is highly recommended to travelers who pursue quality!

It is across the street from Dali University, quiet in the bustling city, and convenient to take a taxi to Dali Ancient Town and Cangshan Mountain. If you can't get a car, the hotel can send one, which is very good. The housekeeper Zoey is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to solve your needs. The hotel is clean and hygienic, the service is thoughtful, the bed is big, the view outside the window is first-class, and there is a heated swimming pool that children like. It's just a pity that the restaurant can only order set meals, not order meals. The breakfast is satisfactory.
