Our stay at Xi Yue Inn was an absolute delight. Nestled within the charming alleys of Dali's ancient town, this tranquil inn offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.
The rooms were beautifully appointed, blending traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern comforts. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.
The location was ideal, with easy access to the town's main sights and a plethora of local eateries. We highly recommend Xi Yue Inn for anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic experience in Dali.

Our family of 6 rented out all of Courtyard 1 for our stay in Dali. What an amazing place! The rooms were all excellent, everything is beautiful and works well, and the courtyard is such a great place to gather in the morning and evenings. We had tea, ate fruit, and chatted there a lot. It is close to a main street for restaurants and shopping, but it is quiet and peaceful.
The hosts were so gracious and helpful, they made us feel welcome and at ease.
If you are only booking just 1 room I will say this, we were in the bottom room and we could hear our kids in the upper room, especially in the morning when they were walking around. If they were strangers this would have been a bit more annoying!
This place was an absolute highlight of our entire time in China, and is also one of my favorite places I have stayed anywhere. I will find my way back to this charming place one day ...!

The first choice for family travel! There are three rooms, a courtyard, a living room, a dining room, a mahjong room, and a tea room. The three-story building has a lot of space and a terrace. The rooms are clean and tidy and the facilities are complete.

Facilities: The house is an old house renovated, and the sound insulation is relatively poor, but this is basically the case in ancient towns. I like that the toilet in the room is fully automatic!

Environment: Good. The garden downstairs is great but relatively small. It is very comfortable to have breakfast in the yard in the morning. It costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi from the ancient town and is not within the ancient town.

Checking in feels like living in your own home. All furniture and kitchen utensils are complete, as are oil, salt and various seasonings. You can cook whatever you want.
