Loved our time at Darling Lodge. From the warm welcome from Oliver to the wonderful breakfast before departure. You cannot go wrong at Darling Lodge. The attention to detail, cleanliness and quality of everything from the pool area to the beautiful lounge. It’s a busy place as it has a reputation. Hope you get in. Thank you to Stephen & Oliver

This is our second visit to Darling Lodge and it was every bit as gorgeous as we remembered (maybe even more so!) This time we visited with family and Stephan and Oliver and team are so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - from champagne and strawberries in our rooms to an amazing breakfast selection, everything was perfect! We found some time to enjoy the gorgeous pool and sun loungers too - exactly what we needed on a hot day! It’s the perfect central location for exploring the surrounding area - highly recommend a visit to Ormonde Vineyard and the beach at Yzerfontein, as well as enjoying browsing the shops in Darling itself! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back

Had a smashing stay here in April and will definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area. As other reviews have said, what you see is what you get, although I would go further and say this is one of those occasions where it's even better than the website & photos suggest. Oliver & Stephan are great hosts, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. And the Scrambled egg was some of the best I've had!! My bed (Sandy Esau room) was very comfortable! The resident cats are most entertaining too!

My husband and I spent 3 peaceful nights at Darling Lodge. The gardens are lovingly tended & tranquil, our hosts were so hospitable & attentive, and the Lodge is close to the main shops & some lovely places to visit in this pretty town place - Darling Sweets, Darling Dairy, Chicory Cheese Coffee Shop, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay in Darling - thank you!

It was a wonderful experience. Beautiful place with a great atmosphere and friendly people. This was also the place where I stayed 8 years ago the night before our wedding. It was great to revisit those moments again...

We were there two years ago and we have just returned from another great weekend food was great and the beds were very comfortable and the rooms had everything you needed and Stephan is a great host and wonderful person

We unfortunately only stay for one night and really enjoy our it. The house is in quiet street, with beautiful gardens and secure parking. Room was great and the breakfast excellent. The host was very friendly and helpfull. The wifi is free, but slow. Will definitely stay there again.

Love love love! This quaint guest lodge was so welcoming when we arrived. Stephen, the owner, gave us a tour of the lodge. Stephan helped us plan our route to Paternoster and booked our dinner at a lovely restaurant, Bistro 7. Our room was right next to the pool. The lodges restaurant has delicious food which came very quickly! All in all, I would highly recommend this lodge to everyone who's visiting Darling!
