Just returned home after a great weekend in Dartmouth staying in Estuary room at Waterfront House. It is a lovely place to stay, with stylish decoration, comfortable bedroom, first class breakfast and lovely views across the Dart. This will be our first choice of accommodation when visiting Dartmouth again. Thanks Jon and Julie for your hospitality

This place is an absolute GEM! Here for business for one evening and a sublime welcome from Julie, beautiful smelling, looking establishment. Presented with a stunning room overlooking the dart, appointed like a 5* hotel rather than a B&B! Espresso coffee, shower robe, beautiful rainfall shower and fresh cookies. I’m so impressed with the place and I strongly recommended. I have no doubt breakfast will be sublime as per the other reviews! Thanks guys!

This venue was exceptional. Friendly and professional hosts , excellently presented, tastefully decorated , accommodation high standard. Bed very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast is superb with good choice and quality. With directly overlooking the harbour and and scenic views , perfect location for touring Devon

This was a return visit to Waterfront House and John and Julie think about every detail, from homemade cookies on the tea tray to one of the best breakfasts we have had in a hotel( and we travel a lot) - the poached autumn fruits with natural yogurt was yummy and the locally sourced produce for the cooked breakfast is top quality. We stayed in the estuary room- stunning views of the water with cosy armchairs in the bay window! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! We look forward to coming back again.

We had a two day stay-a gift from our family for our special Anniversary. The weather was very mixed but we were made so comfortable at Waterfront house.We also had a lovely view from the harbour room-something to watch all the time.The choice for breakfast is great and beautifully served but most of all ,Jon and Julie are kind and thoughtful hosts.

Booked very last minute and what a brilliant find, we stayed in the Harbour room and view was fantastic, beautiful property throughout and room was fabulous, super comfy bed and breakfast was delicious, wouldn’t hesitate to come here again as we only stayed for one night but wished it was for longer, hosts are fantastic and make you feel very welcome

What can I say! It is very clear why they were awarded the best B&B in Devon. Julie & Jon are such a lovely couple, very helpful and personable, the place is spotless, beautifully decorated with attention to detail throughout and lovely personal touches. Delicious breakfast choices, would highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

No need for words the picture says it all. The room was exceptionally clean with everything you need for a comfortable sty. Breakfast was very good with cooked to order items of good quality. Bathroom was small but adequate for a short stay of a couple of days.
