Excellent value for money! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel; the room was perfect, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom! Everything was perfect ☺️

The room was very nice, clean, quiet and warm, with excellent service. I love being able to live in such a nice house right next to the bustling ancient city. The price/performance ratio is super high.

This is my second time staying at this inn recently. I personally like self-service hotels very much. They feel very quiet and comfortable. I hope this inn will continue to maintain its current standard.

Honest review: The room was small but fairly clean. However, there was a particularly unpleasant incident. I'm sharing it with everyone! We arrived in Datong Ancient City at 11 PM. The male receptionist told us there was only one room left, and it was extremely noisy. After some negotiation, he said it was a problem with the shop next door and suggested we check out. That's the situation; no other guests complained. It was midnight! Where were we supposed to find a room immediately? We were exhausted after a long day and just wanted to sleep. Wearing earplugs all night, we were still bothered by the noise. People with heart conditions really couldn't stand it. Strangely, when we left at 5 AM the next morning with our luggage, the female receptionist said she could help us change rooms and that there was still room available. So, between midnight and 5 AM, were there any guests checking out? Or was she just trying to fool us, thinking we were easy prey since we were unfamiliar with the area? My overall impression of Datong was good, but the hotel on our first night was particularly unpleasant. Improving service attitude and quality is crucial to retaining countless out-of-town tourists. I haven't stayed in the other rooms, so I won't comment on them. However, the rooms on the very edge were noisy. I hope that friends who are going to stay in Datong with me will observe this beforehand. Consumers have the right to know and the right to complain.
