location with access to the beach is great
unfortunately the room available at that time was a standard room, too narrow for three beds to fit
front office didn’t mention about extra amenities in the hotel like a live band in the evening or fireworks by the beach; we also missed to ask
though premises has a very well manicured garden especially the green sprawling grass, the parking space is very limited to about 20 vehicles or less
towels look shabby and off-white already, needing replacement
in fairness, ala carte food is well prepared and tasty, though the complimentary buffet breakfast is just average sausage, fish, pork and eggs
all in all, the Mexican/Mediterranean vibes of the place makes it unique from other resorts, especially that it has a Dino Park nestled around the well kept trees and gardens

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all needs were met promptly. I especially appreciated the peaceful environment, perfect for both relaxation and family stays.
The on-site dining options were great, offering a variety of food that can be customizable preferably to your food preferences (especially if you have food allergies). Their Chef is very considerate when I asked to just make a pork soup instead of Sinigang na Baboy from the menu due to my GERD. Breakfast had plenty of options and was a great way to start the day.

The environment is not bad, it is particularly remote. It is a half-hour drive from the central area. The service is very poor. How can you communicate well? You have to add money if you don’t move. The experience is very poor. It won’t be fixed. Health is also general. Many ants

Hotel is right in front of the beach. Even tho there is not much to do in the beach, there are some interesting restaurants if you know how to find them. First hotel to have a toilet seat, tho the toilet still gets smelly. Breakfast included is okay, but appreciated. Staff is friendly.
Find your motorbike from elsewhere cause these ones are a bit too pricey.
Overall nice place.

The waiters are very good and the food in the restaurant is very good and very fine. The environment is comfortable and can be said to be a sea-view room. The waiter cleans up the room every day. But the location is mid-level, relatively remote, typhoon is coming, many flying insects, get up in the morning, the ants in one place are very scary, and there are ants in the room.

What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

Our villa was simply magnificent: spacious, stylish and very cozy. Snow-white bed linen and impeccable cleanliness created a feeling of real luxury.
The hotel staff are real professionals! Very responsive, sincere and always ready to help. When we decided to rent a bike, it was delivered right to the hotel - new, powerful, for only 500 pesos per day. It was incredibly convenient for trips to Alon Beach (only 7 km) and to local attractions.
I would like to separately note the breakfasts. The food was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. A real pleasure to start the day with such dishes!
We were pleased with the proximity to the street with cafes and restaurants - literally a few minutes walk. This allowed us to try many local dishes and not depend on transport.
Special thanks for organizing an early breakfast before our departure - everything was ready at 5:30, and the transfer to the airport was waiting for us on time.
E L Westensee Resort is a place where you want to come back! The warm atmosphere, perfect cleanliness and caring approach to each guest made our vacation simply unforgettable!

We swam with masks, a lot of starfish and sea urchins, beautiful corals, without special shoes and masks you should not swim, it is dangerous, only splash around near the shore. SShur Jothamour host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality

The Owners are amazing, the staff is wonderful and friendly. There is a relaxing vibe there, bonus you will get free coffee, free breakfast, free water to start your day and there is a weekly Saturday bbq, you eat as much as you can and get to socialize..
I would strongly recommend it.. I loved it and hope to come back soon .

At night, you can hear the cows calling around. It is more original. The experience is recommended. The service at the front desk is friendly. The restaurant can order food. BBernardethaThis hotel is new, very clean, and affordable for a family trip to Panglao Island. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It's about a 10-minute Tuk Tuk ride to Alona Beach and only around 5 minutes to a lovely resort called Oceanica, where we paid for a day pass. If you're looking for some exercise, you can also take a 15-minute walk to Libaong White Beach early in the morning. While the hotel isn't located in the center, there are always Tuk Tuks waiting outside, and jeepneys are available if you want to go to Tagbilaran. For breakfast, we paid 350 pesos per adult, with kids charged half price. They offer both Filipino and Western dishes, but we especially loved the ”Champorado,” a porridge made with pure cacao. Everything is definitely worth the price, and I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Panglao.

ZZHENI lived in a mixed gender dormitory this time, I don't know much about other room types. The mixed gender dormitory is still very good, and I feel very quiet. If my English is good, I can make many overseas friends. The hotel feels very quiet and welcoming. Although the pool is small, I still use it for a long time and hope that I can pass SSI Level 1!
I slowly started to like to travel, and slowly got used to travel alone. The hotel's Guest Book is especially heart-warming. Many tourists and friends have their best memories in Natura Vista. I hope the hotel will be better and welcome more and more overseas friends!

VVanessa We were so happy with our 4 nights at Bohol Shores. We loved the pool. It was nice and spacious for my girls to swim around in. The pool villa was also very nice and we loved the shallow access to the pool. The shower pressure and temperature wasn’t great at first but when we requested repair, they efficiently replaced the nozzle to make a larger spout and also made the temperature much hotter. So we were very impressed with their proactive approach to make us happy. All the staff are so kind and friendly and accommodating and helped us book drivers etc. It’s a short walk to the ocean but it’s rocky not very beach like but had amazing sea life like hermit crabs and interesting shells which we didn’t see as much at the beaches. Then the hotel arranged a 10 min Tuk Tuk where we went to Dumaluan beach and enjoyed a family beach day. We entered Dumaluan through the Dumaluan beach resort (100 pesos per person). In my opinion Dumaluan beach is much better than Alona beach. More space to swim and less crowded. The location is also walking distance to the Bohol Bee Farm which we enjoyed eating lunch at. All in all, we are very happy with this resort and would recommend it!
