Hotel is pretty aged and hooks for hanging bath towels are broken and missing.
Reception Zoe was ill-trained and had charged me rmb $499 when I had already prepaid.
She actually charged my card for the stay even after she saw that my room booking had been prepaid
She promised to process the refund on the next morning when I check out but nothing was accomplished except another promise made by a lady who claimed to be the FO Manager that was on duty that there was no charge that was made to my card but could not provide a confirmation by their correspondent bank.
This is not true as my mobile phone had received a text message from Citibank in Singapore thar indicated that a charge of rmb 499 had been processed.
She later provided a letter to guarantee that she will make sure that the mistake will be rectified.
I am still waiting for my bank to acknowledge receipt of the hotel's initiation to revoke the charges made through their bank.
Let's hope that I do not have to resort to writing to their regional manager to investigate the incompetence of the management at four points Sheraton under the stewardship of their general manager Johny Fan (范兴宇）
