Lovely small RV park overlooking the lakes. I stayed in the king suites. It was perfect for our trip. The kitchen could use a bit updating on cookware! A few more towels could’ve been available and pot holders. Many choices for dining in Nearby DeFuniak. The campground hosts were fantastic! Very accommodating. I was happy with my stay even though the weather was not ideal! Thank you Reba and Delbert.

This is one of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed! Beautiful, picturesque campsites. A lot of them have lake views. Bathrooms/showers are gorgeous. We didn't use the pool. They have a nice camp store/office. There's a lot of wooden fishing docks. Boats to rent. The gate has an access code, but they text you with the code. I didn't check my texts, so there was some confusion on my part. The only negative thing I can think of to say is the sites are rather tight. We had an empty site next to us for 2 nights, so it was all good

Just another over-rated OVER PRICED RV parking lot. I have left many 5 star reviews for campgrounds I deemed worthy. However my experience here has left me no choice but to alert other RV'ers. I called a day ahead and requested a site on the water. I clearly told the host I wanted to be able to sit outside with a good view of the lake and cook out with about 5 friends who were to join us the next day. I was assured this would be the BEST spot available. I was also told there would be ample parking for the other vehicles. When we got there my heart dropped. I could not believe how tight they had these sites. RIDICULOUS!! To top that, there were no picnic tables, and absolutely no room for sitting outside. Most sites don't have fire rings either. As far as being able to park extra vehicles...HA!! That's a joke. I went back into the office and told them we'd like to leave and requested a refund. Now no-one wants to load up and haul a rig for hours to just up and leave but that's how disappointed I was. They would not refund me a single dime. Instead they wasted another 30 minutes or so trying to stick me in another one of their crappy spots. None of them were suitable for what we had asked for. My biggest problem is these so called RV resorts are so darn GREEDY. Not only do they pack you in like sardines but they have their "no refunds policy". I can understand keeping the deposit or even the first night, but nope that wasn't enough for these folks they kept ALLLLLL of my money. Bad business IMO. While there might be some good reviews (which I sometimes wonder if it's just friends of rv park owners) it would be in your best interest to heed the bad reviews here and keep it rollin. It's enough to make you want to sell your rig and ditch the whole rv/camping hassle altogether.

We have stayed at twin lakes several times. Great people. We were scheduled to go Dec 1 thru Dec 3. We were going for the show of homes Christmas . Do to terrible weather rain wind more rain we decided to cancel. Upon telling them we were canceling because of the weather we were prepared to pay for one night stay. But we were told that we had to pay the full amount and they went ahead an charged my card. I understand it was short notice and they said yes but we could have rented it so we lost money. I was upset because no one would go fishing in this weather and definitely not letting people in their homes with muddy wet shoes. I really feel that this management needs better communication between them and customers. If we just cancel to cancel I understand. But this was legit reason. We travel everywhere in our RV and this is the first time we have ever cancel a reservation. I will tell everyone about twin lakes and that they do not try to accommodate their customers. Our friends made a review and their answer was we will give you firewood and you can sit by the fire and watch the stars not if it is raining. We can only go by the weather we live in Panama City beach fl and it rained and is still raining,

I had issues with our stay that were never resolved regarding flooding in our cabin and a sinking kayak we rented. I tried to speak with management several times to resolve the issue with no luck. Finally, I wrote a poor review on google and the owner responded with complete lies about the situation to blame me. It was a very unprofessional way to handle a complaint that could have been resolved.

Stayed here for 5 months starting Nov 2022 thru Apr 2023. Other than being moved 4 times during our stay, we loved the park and the hosts. Always accommodating and friendly. Looking to do it again this year (as long as we don't get moved) Waterfront lots on both sides of the park and we managed to always be lakeside. The bath house looks like something out of a 5-star resort. Clean, lots of hot water and seldom have to wait. Activities for Thanksgiving and Christmas were most welcome for snowbirds away from family for the holidays however, they made everyone feel right at home as everyone gathered for a potluck style luncheon in the rec center on both occasions. Wifi is a little wonky at times, particularly if you have a large rig beside you that blocks the signal. Cable TV was also a welcome perk. Kudos to Christine and Corey who made everyone feel welcome.

We booked this location from New York via the web for a six week stay. Absolutely loved the campground and the wor hosts Chritine and Corey. Their attitude and friendliness and helpfulness were wonderful! We have now been spoiled and we don't think any other campground is going to come close. The community campfire is a great place to meet so many nice people from all over the country. And again Cristine and Corey could not have been better! We have met new lifelong friends!

We like the RV park very much the spaces are a little close but ok. The only reaon I am givig it a 4 star is because the internet is very bad unless you are up around 4 or5am because I was up and tried it. I would suggest maybe installing some kind of hot spot though out the park to get better reception. The bathrooms are very clean as well as the whole park. We would come back. The office staff is very good as well as the ground keepers. We did have to move but it was due to us wanting to stay extra night. A lot of people were there due to Veterans' Day. Thank you all for a pleasant stay . We ate out nost of the time because we did not want to cook. Alot of places to eat and we found one that was not good, and the food was overpriced

Very pretty and clean resort. Park is patrolled daily at different times to keep people in order especially the vicious dogs they coexist with. Nice owners and maintenance people. We found the sites a little small and cramped. "Starship sized" RVs became obnoxious as were the owners. We were placed in a site where our gray and black water drain hose was forced to run uphill. Switching sites was inconvenient for the owners due to booking. The other big issue is that there is NO mail delivery at this RV site. Very inconvenient especially for people on medication like us. They do accept Amazon deliveries though. This is very quiet resort except for a number of RVers who are transient who parked on either side of us for a day or two stay - they setting up and taking down was irritating. They would be much better of stopping at Wal-mart and so would we. Not much to do in the area if one is on an extended stay (ours was two months). There is fishing with a number of piers too close to other campers. It was great that any COVID restrictions were ignored as most now believe it may have been real at first but became a HOAX.
