Excellent stay and very good premises. Bread served during breakfast was not fresh. So avoided lunch and dinner at ataraxia since we were unsure of the food quality since there were no other guests during our stay. Barring this, the stay was excellent, staff was courteous.

Good stay and special mention for ms. Kanchaan for helping change the room as the allotted one was quite not as per my liking with no view of outside world. Staff are very polite and helpful. The food was average nothing to write about.

I paid for royal room (breakfast and taxes inclusive. For this much money (though this is after discount price) hotel lacks the basic amenities like there was no moisturiser and hair dryer in the room. We had to ask for the dental kit too. Mind it hair dryer is only available in the suite room. Upon request iron was provided but that too without the iron board. Talking about breakfast, do not expect buffet. Only few items are served and basic breakfast item like juices are also not available. When it comes to beverages, only tea and coffee are available in breakfast menu. In room dining menu, the options are immense but again there are no basic options like burger. Though the pizza was good but again chocolate shake was such a disappointment. There are much better options of the hotel available in the same locality.

They selling water bottle above on mrp inf-act 3 times higher of mrp. 100 rs selling price and mrp of bittle 30 rs. Tv setup box is not working also. Room and cleanliness is good but food menu is average

GGuest Userrooms were in good condition. property is located in prime location of the city. food quality is not upto the mark. staff behaviour is also not upto the mark , they need to learn hospitality etiquette. housekeeping department is excellent. they have rooftop bar & restaurant which is average. they have good parking space. overall I give this property average rating because they need to improve alot on staff etiquette towards customers.

CCarlinAs a solo female traveler, I stayed here three nights before going to Rishikesh for a yoga course. While Dehradun isn’t much of a sightseeing destination, I felt safe staying at The Hosteller. The staff were super helpful and the hostel vibe was jovial, consisting of local travelers keen to chat and play guitar/sing on the rooftop in the evening.

GGuest UserHotel alaya is a small hotel in a very central location in dehradun close to bhel chowk. The staff here are very welcoming, courteous and polite. Rooms / washrooms were clean. It almost feels like a brand new property. A mini refrigerator, tea kettle, tv etc are available as amenities. The rooms have balconies with a sit out that you can enjoy in good weather. Each room has individual split ac units. The beds are king size, very comfortable and the linen is clean. Service is a little slow. They have a single number to dial for all your needs whether it be housekeeping, room service, laundry, concierge or anything else you need. Parking is available in the basement as well as kerbside. Accessibility for people with special needs is a q mark because you either go through the basement for the elevator or you need to climb about 10 steps to get to the ground floor. The reception is on the first floor. Overall, a good experience at the alaya. Good location and value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel was good and at main road. The staff was polite and food is also good. However, there is an issue with wifi connectivity in the hotel. From evening to next morning, wifi connectivity was not there. Also, washrooms can be more clean.
