Kouros Hotel

This was a last minute booking on the busiest week of the Greek summer. I feel it was good value! There is no lift in the hotel ( probably true of most of the older hotels in Delphi) and we were on the second floor … also no help with cases for us ( late middle-aged!) visitors . On the plus side we scored street parking right outside. The rooms were comfortable, TV, WiFi and a/c all worked fine. The bathroom boasted the ubiquitous wraparound shower curtain in a tiny shower base but , otherwise, all ok, especially for 65 euros . Breakfast was fine, nothing special. We ate very well at nearby restaurants and the archaeological site is 15 minutes walk away.

Overall a nice hotel and very good value for money. Close to shops and restaurants, a short walk to the Delphi ancient site and museum, and a great view of the town and surrounding hills from the upper floor common area balcony. The room price included a buffet breakfast, which was great, although (like most Greek hotels) the breakfast time is quite late. Like many hotels in Greece they don't want you to pay when you check in - they always say "pay later" like they're doing you a favour but it always ends up causing a delay on check-out because there is either no one there or the only person who is able to operate the card payment system is not there. Also, like a few other hotels I experienced, they don't leave the AC remote control in the room - you have to ask for it (and even then they seem reluctant to part with it) - and even after that you end up having to find a chair to stand on to plug it into the mains. Note *********** incorrectly states there is parking available on-site - there isn't. It's street parking only, which ended up being around 400 m from the hotel. Not a problem if you don't have a car or don't have much luggage.

Stayed with my family for one night in this lovely cozy hotel in the middle of Delphi town. Rooms are welcoming spacious, beds comfortable, everything is spotless. Amenities include air conditioning, a refrigerator and a safe inside the wardrobe. Bathroom was large and extremely clean. You even have a small balcony if you want to enjoy the fresh air after a hot day of exploring the museum and Delphi site ruins. An extremely nice personal touch is the fact that all paintings within the hotel lobby and hallways are made by the wife of the owner! Location is grand, close to everything. Only downside (which is not the hotel's fault) is with parking, but that's an issue that affects all properties within the town. Enjoyed our stay here and got a nice night's sleep with a nice tasty variety in breakfast options to get the day started properly! Great value for money.

It is a very authentic Hôtel in the Center of Delphie. Extremly clean, well heated. ZThe personnel is very Kind. The breakfast included in the price of the room was really copiuous and delicious , all home made. I Highly recommended the place
