The hotel is very centrally located and whilst being a little simple has very friendly and helpful staff. Large toom with comfy chairs. Bath and separate shower in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Railways station is only a couple of minutes away.

I stay in hotels a fair bit and there are a expensive ones, posh ones, average ones and terrible ones but you go a long way to find a group of staff who are as friendly and pleasant as those in the Forest Hotel. The hotel is stroll across from the train station and close to restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean, simple but all that you need. I will definitely return when working in Den Helder.

Centrale ligging op een plein in Den Helder. Wij verbleven er één nacht op doorreis tijdens fietsvakantie. Afgesloten fietsenstalling in toegangsgang op gelijkvloers. Naast de deur is een warenhuis. Hotelreceptie ligt op eerste verdieping (enkel toegang mogelijk via trap). Vriendelijk personeel, zowel aan de check-in als aan het ontbijtbuffet. Ongedwongen sfeer. Neigt naar een hostelsfeer (bv. gemeenschappelijke koelkast op de gang). Aangename lounge en hotelbar. Correcte kamer. Gouden tip gekregen voor Italiaans restaurant in de oude haven (Costa).

Vriendelijk, warm en heel attent personeel. De kamers en ontbijt waren prima in orde. Zéér goed geslapen. Hotel ligt aan een grote gratis parking. De familie Venus- Bervoets komt nog wel eens terug. ;-)

Prima hotel. Ruime kamer, goed bed, douche ok. Maar vooral het ontbijt was heerlijk met fijne bediening van het personeel. Helaas wel ruw gewekt in de nacht door brandalarm in hele hotel omdat een gast blijkbaar zat te roken op een kamer. Verder is in Den Helder niks te beleven dus was 1 nacht wel voldoende.

Aangenaam basis hotel. Super vriendelijk personeel. We hadden goeie grote kamer aan de achterkant van het gebouw. Badkamer met bad en douche. Ontbijt is zeer verzorgde, maat basic. Perfect als je met de boot naar Texel wil gaan. Centrale ligging. Alles op een leuke huiselijke manier gerenoveerd, nette kamers.
