Denarau Island Hotels with Gym

Great hotel. Lots of things to do within the resort, very friendly to kids. Plus other activities like the watersports point (those ppl were amazing too). Amazing staff. Hotel itself is fine. Reasonably clean and well-equipped. Actually very pretty with a lot of greenery and foliage around, that felt much more natural and authentic, than just a green lawn that resorts tend to sport these days. (like for ex Sheraton next to it has. We preferred Radisson's look) Our only problem was, that the quality of coffee was pretty bad and we ended up having to walk to the neighbouring Sheraton to get a good cup of coffee.

Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. Aprés plusieurs voyages aux fidji, nous avons enfin trouvé notre nouvel eldorado: le waitui beach club du sofitel denaru!!! C'est le top du top dans cette catégorie de resorts. Tout le personnel est fantastique. Du responsable des réservation de l'hotel jusqu'au jardinier, tous prennent a coeur leur métier pour vous rendre la vie merveilleuse pendant votre séjour. Je ne peux pas citer tout le monde, il n'y aurait pas assez de place dans mon commentaire.. Ils sont trop fort ici... Par exemple,commance par le matin avec du champagne a volonté au breakfast, minibar gratuit chaque jour avec une bouteille de champagne si vous le souhaitez, suivi en soirée d'un cocktail de 5 a 6 pm... J'ai calé au bout de 3 jours...sofitel 1 / hervé 0... Sans parler du personnel aux petits soins toute la journée a vos cotés lorsque vous decidez de passer la journée au bord de la magnifique piscine. Je ne voudrais pas dénigrer les autres resort de denaru, mais si vous avez un choix a faire, prenez le sofitel (si pas d'enfant le waitui beach club) Pour info on y revient dans un an en gros et nous sommes maintenant membre accor plus (un genre de passeport gourmand mondial qui vous donne 50% dans tous les restaurants du groupe accor)

The reason why I booked this apartment is because it is big enough. It is very comfortable for a family of 3 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the day we arrived in Fiji, it rained heavily and some roads were flooded. Taxis were not accepted. The price is 30 Fahrenheit on weekdays. I asked for 60 Fahrenheit to try. It was really good. No, luckily he found a truck for us. He charged us 30 Fei and paid another 60 Fei for the truck. It was dark and a bit scary. We delivered it to the hotel without any accident. Our hands were wet and we were very embarrassed. Fortunately, The staff were very enthusiastic and asked us to wait for an hour to check in early. The apartment is very close to the pier. If you are visiting the main island, it is very convenient. The nearby bars are good for drinking. You can also order takeout from Zhongxin. There is a supermarket but no market, so The kitchen was useless. In short, it is not recommended to come to Fiji during the rainy season. It rained heavily that day and all the boats to the outer islands were stopped. Fortunately, I did not book a boat to the outer islands that day.

A 5 minute walk from port Denarau, spacious 2 storey apartment, comfy beds, easy check in/out, great hotel info detailing local restaurants. a great place for an overnight stay. downside is there's no real cafe/restaurant on site. we went to indian rest at port called Indigo, was the best we've ever had.

Except that the hotel's beach is not so clear because of the black sand, this hotel meets expectations. The hotel is large, the greenery is very good, and the villa's swimming pool is also very clean. A family of six chose a villa with breakfast and dinner, which was very cost-effective. The breakfast is in line with the standards of a five-star hotel. The buffet dinner is 129 Fijian dollars if purchased on site. There are salmon, prawns and other seafood every day. During our three-day stay, we also had Pipa shrimp and blue crab. The family had a great holiday here. It should be noted that when leaving the store, you must check the consumption before paying. We just left in a hurry and did not look carefully. It was not that our consumption was recorded in our name, but that we missed some consumption. Fortunately, later After communication, everything was properly resolved. There is Chinese service at the front desk, which is very convenient. The sunset is beautiful!

First time for our family (2A, 2C under 8) to visit Club Wyndham and boy did we all love it! There is something for everyone, the kids LOVED kids club. Mere and Sala were so loving, kind, energetic and patient with our girls. They loved telling us what new things they made or activities they did and it gave us the time to enjoy the peace and quiet and meet new people. The rooms were so spacious and homely. We had 4 room changes during our stay and each one the kids were so excited to see their room. Loved that there was everything you need in the kitchen, super helpful when we went out to the market to buy fresh fruit. The staff, the staff are AMAZING! We arrived as guests and left as family. The staff spent their breaks playing with our kids in the pool, entertaining them, loving them, it was such an experience - it obviously showed when it came time to say goodbye, my girls were so sad and gave the biggest hugs to everyone. We were so blessed to have a few of the staff serenade us with a farewell song as we departed.They really did make our trip so incredible, we cannot wait to come back at the end of the year. Our family visits Fiji every year but this trip, this one was special and so memorable. Vinaka vakalevu Matt, Ziggy, Izzy, Waqa, Kiti, Mere, Sala, Sio and our expert carver Wise.
