Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

Very nice and helpful people! Enjoyed the home made dinner and breakfast very much. Being able to be transported is super convenient as well, they drove me back to Luoyang early in the morning 🙏🏼😊

It’s a great location. Just 3 min drive to Shaolin temple gate/ ticket office. Hosts are super friendly and helpful with services and transfers. Food was ok. A little pricy for simple dinner. But very tasty. It’s cold currently and room had heating. Big plus. Would totally recommend it for a home stay.

The B&B is being renovated and is still receiving guests. There is a lot of decoration dust on the floor of the room. The service is basically okay, but it's a bit confusing and not very impersonal. We bought dinner and breakfast at the B&B. Our babies didn’t eat breakfast, so we wanted to ask if we could get some steamed buns that we hadn’t finished yet, and the answer was no. All in all, the experience and mood are average.

I stayed in a local house, the room was large and had everything I needed (the only thing missing was a view of the mountains, as indicated in the booking). The owner cooks very tasty, helps with buying tickets (the evening performance near Shaolin is wonderful), and can take you where you need to go without having to call a taxi.

The owners wanted to drive us to the back of the mountain to pick us up, but they didn't come. We had to wait two hours for it to arrive. They didn't apologize and just wanted us to pay. We later found out they were charging more than even a taxi. They also sold us food at great prices and provided entertainment and products. These people are only interested in money and don't care about the guests.

Great owners, very friendly people who are happy to help and advise you on anything you need help with - food, transport at reasonable prices, good advice on sightseeing in the area. Very close to the Shaolin Temple which allows not only to visit it but also to trek to the Songshan Mountains. I highly recommend it and would gladly come back again.
