Jixiashan Meili: An architectural masterpiece where nature and humanity interweave Jixiashan Meili Hotel is located in Wunongding Village, Shangri-La, Yunnan, at an altitude of 3,600 meters. It occupies an excellent location for viewing Meili Snow Mountain, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and river valleys, and has a unique geographical location. It perfectly interprets the brand tone of Jixiashan "It's time to go down the mountain when you haven't traveled all the way." The exterior of the hotel continues the Tibetan-style tapered wall structure, which is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, stable and with ethnic characteristics. It is built with local rough stone and cement rammed earth, replacing traditional rammed earth, which is heat-insulating and simple, and blends in with ******* architecture. The iconic gold foil arc top originated from the golden top of ******* temples, reflecting sunlight, bringing light to the atrium, and showing ******* style. Its spatial layout is unique, and the scissor-type staircase surrounds the "inner courtyard", which becomes the core of the public area. The 360° viewing terrace on the top floor and each guest room can enjoy the snow-capped mountains. The 19 guest rooms are divided into five major themes, and the interior decoration uses comfortable materials and simple furniture, integrating the wabi-sabi style, showing tranquility. The interior design was done by Xie Ke, who used low-key colors, logs and ******* cultural elements, such as gold foil arc ceilings and glass brick side windows, to convey the charm of snow-capped mountains and a sense of religious ritual. From the first time I saw it, I was extremely yearning for it, and I was looking forward to going there in person one day to experience it. The hotel was renovated for the first time in six years since its opening by the original designer at the end of 24. Today, I finally came to this place, which can be regarded as paying for the heartbeat of my youth. It is very good. As expected, I checked in and went down the mountain to Meili. In addition to the outstanding architecture and interior design that I already knew, the service details are also remarkable. 🔘I didn’t find any small piece of disposable plastic in the whole hotel. Even the most common mineral water and garbage bags are made of environmentally friendly materials, which reflects that the hotel managers cherish the beautiful local natural scenery and do a good job in sustainability. 🔘Most of the hotel service staff are local Tibetans. They are lovely and simple and have been trained into well-trained professionals. The service is warm and measured. From the details such as handwriting the guest’s name on the welcome card, repeatedly confirming that the room service is allowed, and even preparing a heater for the good night sweet soup, there is nothing wrong with it. 🔘The hotel meals were a pleasant surprise for this trip. Because the hotel is located in Wunongding Village, I had planned to eat a very ordinary hotel meal before coming. I didn't expect that every dish in the blind spot was delicious. Local ingredients such as black truffles, rainbow trout, and matsutake mushrooms have natural flavors and can meet the tastes of urban life. The buffet breakfast also has many ******* specialties, which is really thoughtful. Due to the weather, I didn't see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain.
