2-Star Hotels in Deqin

The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village. The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village. Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it. The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

There are snow-capped mountains on three sides, the White Horse Snow Mountain on the left, the Goddess Peak and the Five Crowns Peak facing each other, and the General Peak and Kawagebo's head on the right. It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

The view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun from the rooftop observation deck of the hotel was good. It was the last time before the Spring Festival (it rained in the next few days according to the weather forecast). The view of the room was also good, and the main peak was clearly visible. Facing the majestic snow-capped mountains after the sun rose, it was very comfortable to sit for two hours and drink tea. The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were very clean, which was satisfactory. The graphene electric heater was hung on the wall, which was safe and the indoor temperature was comfortable. I was surprised to find that there was also an electric blanket, which slowly heated up after turning it on. The feet that got cold quickly became hot when walking around on the ground in disposable slippers. I turned it off after turning it on for more than two hours and felt sweaty. The bathroom facilities were average but they were all there (no plastic slippers, but it is generally not recommended to take a bath on the mountain, so it is not a problem). In general, the price-performance ratio is good.

Good location for hikes starting in Lower Yubeng with a nice view. Room was well appointed, with warm showers, heating, and comfortable beds - everything needed after a day of trekking. Staff are friendly and happy to help, and provided great advice on hiking in the area. We were provided with crampons and walking poles to borrow for free.

酒店是過年時候去雨崩訂的，一共訂了兩家。這個是第二家，一開始在平台上看的時候，房間的裝修因為是木板的原因，看着感覺就有一些陳舊的感覺。實際去入住了之後，才發現比自己想象的要好很多，房間實際比圖片效果好。 去之前看評論都說店家的牛肉麵很好吃，第二天早上想吃呢，沒有了。就衹能吃了牛肉米線，有點小遺憾。 還有一點值得讚揚的，就是老闆提前好幾天就聯繫，加了微信，還給我發了專線車的聯繫方式啥的，幫到了很多。非常感謝， 唯一有點不足的是房間裏的電視機不能用，別的都很好。很值得入住，推薦。

The space is more spacious than expected It felt like I was back in my own country. The quilt was a little heavy, but we slept well. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and suits our taste very well. We ate there for 2 nights in a row and it was raining after we finished eating. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the lady boss is very nice. Regarding the Coke I brought, I just asked if I got it here or if I brought it myself. There was no ill intention at all. I thought it was strictly forbidden to bring your own food. The inn also has 12 cats, which are so cute. They have cat toys and electric blankets, which is really great in the countryside. Will recommend it to friends who want to live in Shangyubeng

The location of the hotel is very good. You can directly view the Jinshan Mountain in the morning. The viewing effect is very good. The big bed is spacious and clean. There is plenty of hot water. The boss Bin is very enthusiastic. You can find him if you need anything here. It makes you feel very comfortable here. , you can chat and play cards when you have nothing to do. It’s also great to watch the stars at night. I’ve been eating the meals cooked by Brother Bin for the past few days. His cooking skills are also very nice.

This is, by far, one of the cleanest, well kept places in Upper Yubeng village. The room I stayed in was very spacious, immaculately clean, and had a lovely view of the mountains to the side picture window. At night I slept with the window open to feel the cool mountain breeze, and it was lovely to be awakened by the sound of mules baying rather than the honking of cars in the big city! It is clear that the owners of this inn, two young brothers, have a vision for this place that is quite different than the other inns around. From the quality of the towels and the bedding, to the Zen open concept communal area downstairs, there is more of a Western feel to this hotel than others I have stayed in in the area. While the upper floors contain the private rooms, the bottom floor is more like a hostel with rooms that contain 4 to 5 beds. There is a pool table right outside those rooms so you can entertain yourselves in the evening after hiking. Another great thing about the end is the two brand new big load washing machines where, for only 10 RMB, they provide soap and you can wash and hang your sweaty clothes after a day on the mountain. The shared sinks, toilets, and showers, for the hostelers are equally as immaculate as the private rooms upstairs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hostel as clean as this one! The kitchen also serves up good food and there’s plenty of cold beer and other drinks in the fridge in the reception. One thing I forgot to mention, is that on the upper floors there are small areas where you can sit in a swing chair or at a table and read a book or drink tea. Also, though I didn’t ask for it myself, I saw other guests at the end of the day soaking their feet in traditional wooden barrels provided by the hotel. Both of the brothers were lovely and highly accommodating. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others traveling in the Yubeng area!

The hotel is very close to the drop-off point of Shangyubeng, and it is very friendly to people who get up early and catch a dusty man into the village. The snow-capped mountains outside the room are very beautiful. I went at the end of March. The room did not have air conditioning, but it was not cold to sleep with an electric blanket, but it was a bit cold to change clothes in the bath. The bathroom light in the room is a bit dark, and the boss can upgrade it as appropriate. You can bring your own disposable cotton slippers, and there are plastic slippers for bathing in the hotel. The boss is very enthusiastic and enthusiastic, action! On the day I walked to the ice lake, the shoes were wet because of snow and stepped on the glacier. I sent WeChat to the boss to let him make a fire and bake the shoes. The little friend who stayed at the hotel quickly made a fire and waited for us.
