This beautiful log home is nestled in the woods on the Lake Arbutus channel. Enjoy the serenity of the northwoods in this spacious, private home. The Hatfield area offers many activities for your year round enjoyment. Activities include boating, fishing, swimming, skiiing and hiking, with Levis Mounds near by. We have a private dock availablle for your use. Pioneer Lodge is conveniently locted just 15 minutes off the interstate. There are three area supper clubs in the area to enjoy dining out.
The kitchen has a comercial stove with two gas burners and a large griddle for enjoying a pancake breakfast. ABSOLUTELY NO ATV's
Weekly reservations run Friday to Friday.
No Saturday check-in or check-out.

This is our 2nd year staying here for a weekend in the summer. We love this cabin as it is cozy but also has a great dock area for swimming & a camp fire area.

What a wonderful home
We stayed Thursday - Monday. Flying from SLC-MKE. Our family lives in Wi. My brother said the fishing is great at Lake Arbutus and with the Russel Mem. Campground & Park across the lake it was fun and convenient. Our family either stayed at the campground or with us. I used one of the kayaks to cross the river and visit Mom & Dad at the campground. My brother brought his boat so we’d either kayak across (they have kayaks you can use) & hop on at the campground or they’d hook up on the Log home dock and go from there. We have stayed in VRBO’s since 2001 and this is one of the most well prepared we’ve been in. Walmart isn’t far but - don’t worry about utensils, they have you set along with just about anything you would need to cook with. The place was very clean. Please note: you are expected to ***** the beds, put away garbage, clean all dishes, sweep & vacuum before departure so that takes a while. I think most VRBO/Air BNBr folks do that (we always do) but it is nice on the last day to be able to sleep in a little before you clean. So, it would be nice if check in was 3pm instead of 4pm and/or checkout 11am instead of 10am but neither is a deal breaker. What we found thoughtful was that they had many really good DVD’s, games, and some kids toys and very comfy bed linens as well as toiletries.

Great lake cabin getaway
We loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful cabin. There is plenty of space and has all the amenities (except for towels). Our kids were able to swim by the dock and the host supplied several water toys like tubes, water squirts, and they had 2 kayaks. This was our favorite cabin rental so far!

family fun
We have stayed here 3 times and it is always clean, stocked and ready to enjoy. Lots of indoor activities for rainy days and tons of outdoor equipment to use. The washer and dryer saved the day.
