Holiday Home Belvedere

Stayed at Belvedere with my family (5 of us)for my 70th birthday in February 2025. Lovely apartment with superb pool. Family owned and all very helpful. Pick up service from airport available and also if required will take you to the beach (both chargeable). Approximately 35minute walk to the main beach. Hiring a car essential if wanting to explore the island. Beautiful views from balcony to the sea and all very comfortable. Local shop 10 mins walk away and also various restaurants in walking distance. Would highly recommend Belvedere to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday. Antigua is stunning with the most friendliest people I have ever met. Runaway beach is amazing for a relaxing day. Don miss Shirley’s Heights for a barbecue and music amazing atmosphere, Nelsons Dockyard is a must and also Galleon Bay. Far to many beautiful places to mention. One more thing a circumnavigation boat trip of the island is a wonderful day out.

The location on a hillside gave fantastic views from our balcony which extended the whole width and one side of our apartment. The garden and pool were beautifully maintained. Inside the apartment, the lounge was comfortably furnished and the kitchen well designed. There were 2 bedrooms, both a good size with very comfortable beds and both en-suite with a great water pressure in the shower. There was both air conditioning and ceiling fans in the rooms. Our hosts Ivonne was very friendly and informative providing recommendations on where to eat and nearest shops etc. They could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

We stayed here during our trip to Antigua, and it was perfect for the two of us. The space was cosy, the kitchen was such a bonus and we loved eating out on the balcony. It was such a nice spot to relax and soak in the Caribbean vibes. The air conditioning kept the place so cool and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and welcoming- they cleaned every single day!! Plus, the owner was lovely. She introduced us to her cats which were adorable. We spent lots of time in the pool, which was always clean and such a nice place to relax in the sunshine. The location was great as well. It was just a short walk to a few takeaway spots. We also hired a car, so getting around the island was super easy, and there was plenty of parking at the hotel. We’d 100% come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled, comfortable spot in Antigua!

4 of us (2 couples) shared fab apartment for 5 nights. Ivonne was a great host and couldn't do enough for us including help with airport transfer, car rental, lift to beach and advice on shops and eateries. Ivonne even helped with some aloe vera as well as providing tea bags, biscuits and water for our late arrival. Spacious and comfortable accommodation including separate entrance suite double bedrooms for each couple. We walked to 3 local restaurants from the accommodation, enjoying breakfast and dinner but we hired a car to get about the island and explore further. Location is close to supermarkets as well as Dickenson Bay and adjoining Runaway, both stunning. Would recommend staying here.

The view was great, the owners very pleasant and accommodating, the room was perfect for our quick overnight stay with a large kitchenette! Nearby restaurants on the beach that were lovely. They even arranged taxi service for us to and from the airport. We would definitely stay again!
