The scenery of Zhagana compares with any high valley village in the Dolomites. And the view from the bedroom on a clear day is stunning.
The work that is being done in designated 'scenic area' suggests that, with the ongoing efforts, in a few years the valley's amenities will develop. The Zhagana residence shares in that need to develop with the standards being introduced. It must borne in mind that Zhagana is at an altitude of 3000 metres plus.
The helpful young ladies at the hotel worked hard with translation and arranged a taxi to get me to the airport, a 5 hour plus journey. (The old people of the village need the consideration of visitors.)
