Hotel du Palais Dijon

This is a gem of a hotel in Dijon. A quick walk to the Ducal Palace yet down a quieter street. My room (Chardonnay) was more spacious than I expected, nicely decorated, well-equipped and absolutely pristine. The thing that really stands out, though, is the great customer service from everyone on reception. They made excellent restaurant recommendations, managed to get me booked onto a great wine tour and generally made the whole visit easy. I can also highly recommend the wine tasting in the cellars beneath the hotel. This is a great place to stay!

Hotel du Palais is in a great location on a quiet street. The comfy room was a great size for two people. The staff gave us very helpful advice and were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They gave us superb restaurant recommendations too that really impressed our group of 6. I hope to return to Dijon and Hotel du Palais. It was superb!

Excellent 4 day stay in central area of Dijon. Host and staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable, small kitchen had all amenities, bed was clean with luxurious sheets. Bathroom had a full size shower and very clean. Highly recommend cellar tour with knowledgeable staff.

This is a great comfortable hotel conveniently located in a quiet area. The hotel staff especially Alex and Elora were incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of there way to help us resolve an issue we could not have done on our own. We would come back anytime and highly recommend the hotel.

Comfy bed, large bathroom, knowledgeable staff (one of the owners gave us a delightful tour of burgundy wine country), and great location. Dijon is as charming as can be and the Hotel du Palais did not disappoint.

After my husband was injured at the Hotel des Ducs, I called this hotel and the owner arranged for a cab to pick us up. The staff helped my husband out of the cab, sat him down, and gave us cold drinks. The staff helped him up to our room, and they made us comfortable. Twice my husband fell while holding a glass, and the staff was extremely gracious about the clean up. The room was large and spacious, and the staff made every effort to help us. When we went to check out, the owner refused to take a tip for her staff, as she said that service was what the hotel offered. In comparison to how we were treated at the Hotel des Ducs, the contrast was amazing. I will always be grateful to the owner for the kindness that she showed me when I really needed help. The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is very nice, and the service is exceptional. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The standard of service beats anything that I have seen in 50 years of traveling. You shouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Dijon.
