The location was great, the staff were friendly, the room looked appealing, but sadly that's where it finished. 1) We had no hot water. 2) The front door would not lock. 3) The TV was broken. 4) The telephone did not work. We reported these issues to the management immediately, and they promptly inspected the room and promised that they would be rectified at once. Come the next day, nothing had been done, and all we were met with was a bunch of apologies. Thankfully, after filing a formal complaint, we were offered a refund of the hotel cost. In the meantime though, we learnt that the room had had these faults reported on numerous occasions by previous guests, yet none of the problems had been addressed. Why the reception staff allowed the room to be booked yet again is beyond me.
