Sympathetically modernised building that provides clean, bright, comfortable accommodation and excellent service. Attention to detail is impressive and the location is ideal for the heart of Dinard. Parking available nearby.

This was our 2nd visit to the Balmoral. But this time we decided to upgrade to the superior room. Easy check-in with a warm welcome. Our room was allocated on the top (3rd floor) overlooking the buildings & courtyard at the rear of the hotel. The room was well laid out, slightly bigger than the standard room we had previously stayed in, with big windows & aircon. Double bed was firm & comfortable. Decent ensuite shower room with mini hairdryer & shower gel. Only large towels provided, so had to ask for another one to use for my hair. There was a kettle, mugs & tea/coffee in the room on arrival but no milk. 2 small bottles of water were provided on arrival. Breakfast consisted of bread, pastries, boil your own eggs, ham/cheese, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, jams & tea/coffee/juice. Location was centrally positioned a couple of streets back from the sea front with plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Ideal location for a visit to Dinard.

We were received by a condescending gentleman who didn't mind correcting me on the way I expressed myself... regarding the time I was supposed to vacate the room... I felt a terrible urge to remind him that he was just supposed to stay in his place.

3-star hotel???!!! Superior Double Room booked for 2 nights: No heating in the bathroom and insufficient lighting for shaving and makeup in the bathroom. Poor toilet paper holder causing the paper to unroll on the floor. Following our complaint at reception, we were advised to leave the door open to warm up the bathroom = no effect, temperature too low for shower. Reception at Check Out not at all friendly

friendly welcome, well located hotel, you can do everything on foot when you are parked very clean and well equipped room full breakfast, bread and pastries of the day and bakery the hotel is under construction, but that has not impacted the quality of our stay

Lack of space in the room we had. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a very unpleasant smell: lack of ventilation. Hair dryer out of service, lack of instant coffee sachets, lack of toilet paper. Very pleasant welcome, very well stocked breakfast buffet and very good food. The young woman at reception listens to customers and is very professional.
