Great atmosphere close to all essentials in the area. Great food at the restaurant too. Staffs were helpful.

We went to dinner plains for a few days of relaxation after a busy golfing holiday and it lived up to expectations .Obviously out of season most facilities were closed but that just made it more peaceful .We stocked up on groceries on the way and could use the restaurant if we wished .

From check in through to check out, our week at Club Wyndham Dinner Plain exceeded expectations. We were provided with information on resort activities, walks to do within and outside the village, and towns/sights to explore. Our chalet was clean, tidy, well appointed and in the perfect spot to see the alpine country during the Summertime. Resort staff were friendly and accommodating of any requests we had - and a special mention to Emily N, who assisted us with emergency toothbrushes and toothpaste! Elements Restaurant was exceptional, once again with warm and hospitable service from Emily N, something you don't often experience these days. For lovers of nature, this region is a must visit! Snowgums, wildflowers, birdlife, brumbies and an array of other wildlife were a joy to see, either from our accommodation windows or when we were out and about. We never tired of watching the clouds roll by, the ever changing weather and the sunrises and sunsets - it was like something out of a Bob Ross painting. Can't wait to visit again!

The young man who was running the bar and restaurant was particularly unpleasant and had no idea how to treat paying guests. Not even a pizza could be offered for dinner and he told us to go to some cafe up on Mt Buller. Later we heard him unloading on one of the other staff for being kind and taking our complaint to the overall manager, who to his credit managed to at least get us something to eat. It seems if you don't actually lease a room here and you stay in the small rental rooms, you are second class in this gated community.

An escape from the hustle and bustle this place will slow you down for walks and talks. A great chalet stay for a family our 3 room chalet had room for early risers and late sleepers. Upstairs bedrooms, down stairs living area, kitchen and spa bathroom as well as a main bathroom with ensuite. Drive and park space as well as easy walk to local shops. When covered in snow, you can ski in and out to the local pub, buses or areas near by. Reception have board games, toboggans and schedule of events including a trivia night in the bar. 9 hole Frisbee course, playground and chess board are also freely available for when you aren’t walking or riding trails or skiing. It is remote and needs a car, we arrived by Snowdog transporter and used local services to commute. We enjoyed chillaxing and doing things locally.

Extremely impressed with the service staff, especially the short term staff there for the snow season. Very cosy, warm and inviting atmosphere with a chalet feel. Small but clean and well appointed rooms. Each room has a lockable cage for snow gear, including skis and boots. Really enjoyed the slow cooked beefcheeks and truffle mash in the restaurant. Overall extremely wonderful experience. Will definitely be back. Thank you. Erika
