Popular Diqing 4-star Hotels

The inn is located near the north gate of the ancient city. Cars can drive to the door and there is a small parking lot. After chatting with the boss for a while, I learned that the boss loves freedom too much. He closed the store and went out to play since October last year. He only came back to renovate the inn in March this year. When we came in to ask about the room, they were planting flowers. I love this yard too much. The boss also planned the travel route for my friends and told them about some cultural colors here. Beijing girls are really good at chatting! Next time my friends come, I will recommend them to stay here!

The location is on the main road, with convenient parking. It is inconvenient to drive in and out of the B&Bs in the ancient city, but it is convenient to drive in and out here. There are charging stations and the hygiene is acceptable. The only drawback is that the air conditioning is a bit slow to heat up. It needs to be set to 30 degrees. It has not heated up for a long time at 26 degrees!

Nice location in the old city, near Gui Shan. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, changes every day. Free sweet soup in the evening was a nice touch. The room was on two storeys which was cool, beds upstairs and TV/shower downstairs, quite convenient (but no wardrobe). Baidu map took us to the wrong location so be careful, but after a call to Ctrip the owner came to pick us up (also willing to take us to the main gate when we left). If you have suitcases best to call them for a pick up as the streets in the old city are bumpy. Nice terrace on the second floor, spent a lot of time sitting there looking out over Gui Shan and the city (some photos below). Overall a very nice experience.

I have been exploring the meaning of travel. This time I came to Yubeng and realized that in addition to geographical latitude, people and things in the time dimension are more addictive. At the end of November, I planned a Yubeng hike with my friends. Before departure, I spent a long time choosing a hotel online. Adhering to the principle of cost-effectiveness, we chose Yushan. The story that happened in the end also proved that our vision was really great🎉 It was about 2 pm on the first day of arriving at the hotel. The housekeeper Peng Peng prepared ginger tea for us to relieve fatigue. After a brief exchange, Peng Peng and the store manager Su Yang were on vacation in the afternoon and were going to hike in Shenpu. They enthusiastically invited us to participate. My friend and I are both hiking novices. How could we miss such a good opportunity? Hahaha. Before departure, they prepared hiking tools and supplies for us. The key points were put in the backpack of store manager Su Yang throughout the journey (what a responsible and considerate store manager). My friend and I set off easily with trekking poles in hand. I was exhausted during the hike, but they kept encouraging us, just like friends. The process was really beautiful, and we finally reached the top. Back to the hotel, the owner also prepared a fascia gun and a humidifier to relieve our fatigue. The next day, when we woke up and opened the curtains, the beautiful golden mountain in the sun came into view. The beautiful scenery swept away our fatigue. In addition, the room was quiet and well-equipped, so we rested well and immediately decided to stay another night. After climbing the ice lake, we also had the Hunan Changde beef rice noodles made by the boss and the egg pancakes made by Peng Peng (touched). Choosing the right hotel really added a lot to our trip. I strongly recommend friends who go to Yubeng hiking to choose Yushan! ! ! It is definitely a 100-point hotel!

The size of the room was crazy, and super clean, with floor heating, humidifier and oxygen machine, very friendly to the ones who suffer from altitude sickness (luckily both of us were tough enough) and the staff of the hotel might be the most warm-hearted and friendly hotel staff I’ve ever seen. If you have Wechat they will add you into a service group and you can ask for help or services there, very convenient. And it is also super close to the ancient city, 5mins walk. 10/10, will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Perfect location: in a quiet street and only 2 mins walk to the ancient town. Room is big, modern and well equipped. There is also humidifier in room.The only minor thing that those who plan to have a long stay should aware is that they only provide disposable towel which may be a bit inconvenient. Breakfast: basic but delicious. Service: 10/10. Free welcome fruits in the lobby. Even though the booking only included one trip of either pick up or drop off from the train station, they were so kind to offer us both trips. Highly recommended!

Service starts two days before check-in. WeChat confirmed the arrival date and time and asked how many suitcases there were. This time we have four people and four suitcases. The B&B directly sent an SUV to pick us up at the high-speed rail station. Very thoughtful. The tea seat in the lobby, the big dog, the reeds in the yard, and the osmanthus tree in the independent courtyard of the room immediately make people feel the characteristics of a designer B&B. The room is large, with two large single beds, and the bedding is pure cotton and soft. The most commendable thing is the air conditioner, bathroom heater, and hot water. These are the perfect match for Shangri-La in winter. We stayed in Dali and Lijiang all the way. No hotel can produce such hot water in one minute. The staff at the B&B were very friendly and recommended regular car charter services. They did not officially recommend other restaurants or travel photography. To a certain extent, I respect their professionalism more. It feels like this is a B&B that is dedicated to the hotel business. Forgot to mention, the hot milk and fruit served upon entering the door are very considerate.

The Location is very nice, only a short walk away from the lively and lovely old town center of Shangri-La. The interior design of the hotel is very nice, although it reminded me of wooden Chalets in Switzerland, it immediately made a warm, healthy and clean impression on us. The rooms are spacious, very well maintained and clean. But what was most impressive was the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. The hotel is also the loving home to a sweet red and white cat named Chara.

We stayed here for three nights end of December. The hotel is really beautiful, and our room was very spacious with a lot of amenities, such as an oxygen machine, a humidifier and a bath. The service is also really good, the manager helped us with booking some activities and there was a good breakfast. They were very kind as well! Every evening we would also get ginger tea. The location is very central as well, we were very near the city center. We would definitely recommend staying here!
