Holiday Inn Quito Airport

The service is super in place. The plane arrived early in the morning and the hotel sent someone to pick up the plane. The breakfast was plentiful and the hotel cleaning facilities were new and clean. All staff are warm and patient.
Hotel Stubel Suites & Cafe
4.2/545 Reviews
We stayed here recently with our birding tour group but came 2 days early to see more of Quito. Our first room was a nice, but fairly standard, hotel room with a great view over the valley. Our second stay, one week later as we passed through Quito on our way east, was (fortunately for us) in a suite with a kitchen and washer/dryer. That was wonderful since it gave as an opportunity to do laundry before continuing our travels. The hotel is located about 3.5 miles from the Colonial area of Quito (Old Quito). A bit distant if you plan to go by foot but easy enough by taxi. The included breakfast is good, although lacking in variety. About your only choice is in how you'd like your eggs prepared. We ate dinner in the cafe twice with our group, once it was just OK, the second time was very good. Service can be a bit disorganized but friendly enough.
El Crater

I have nothing but good things to say about El Crater. The hotel was quiet, and the views were spectacular. I couldn't ask for more from a hotel in Ecuador. The staff was attentive to our every need, and I really enjoyed watching the clouds roll in every day. The only problem that I encountered was with electricity. My very costly laptop is made of aluminum, and I could actually feel the current surging through the laptop. If you're going to leave your computer plugged in here, you will most definitely want to plug it into a surge protector first. I lost one laptop to that here in South America.
Dann Carlton Quito
4.5/5112 Reviews
My husband kept raving about this hotel. Ignore any negative reviews you might spot here. Front desk staff were attentive and pretty fluent in English (although it’s presumptive to expect that wherever we travel). The hotel is on a quiet street for Quito and had double-glazed windows (unusual in this temperate climate) so it was super quiet. I got there at night and closed the heavy drapes; only in the morning did I discover there were blackout shades, too — a nice touch. Abundant hot water (not always a given in Ecuador) and a spacious room. This hotel felt very luxurious to us. The pool and workout area, which we did not have time to use, was amazingly well appointed. Breakfast buffet was pretty varied and phenomenal as well. We felt pretty spoiled staying here. When we were there the English Ambassador and his entourage were also staying there, so I think it’s considered to be a pretty good place.
Go Quito Hotel

My experience at Go Quito during our Vacations in Ec was nothing short of extraordinary, and the front desk staff truly made it unforgettable. Kudos to Fernando!!!!!! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Many thanks for Welcome drinks we really enjoyed and TJ was really happy of your assistance making reservations for us in Somos. The team at reception was incredibly professional, attentive, and eager to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms were pristine and beautifully designed, offering the perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The hotel itself is ideally located, making it easy to explore Quito. Their restaurant Pancillo is amazing, great view and hilarious food we highly recommended.
