We ended up staying here last-minute as another hotel had to stay closed due to cyclone damage. I'm honestly so glad it turned out that way. Our room was one half of a cabin right in the rainforest. We used flashlights to get around. Our room was cozy and cabin-like. Parking was easy. It was a short walk to the main building, where we could eat at their restaurant, which was very, very good. Best of all was the creek swimming hole. It was magical and cool, and we loved it. The hotel gave good advice and knowledge of the area, and check-in and out were easy. It was an easy drive north to the Daintree and south to Daintree ice cream company, crocodile tours, and the fery. Loved our stay!
