SARAYA PALACE HOTEL by ACRON

I stayed at Saraya Palace Hotel in Doha, Qatar for 10 days. The location was convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, making my visit enjoyable. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would consider staying here again.

Hotel was in ok location but i was not happy with the toilet seat. Its very next to the sink u can’t even set down.

Very disappointing experience with the reception staff I stayed at Saraya Palace Hotel from 27 August 2026 to 28 August 2026. After reaching home, I realized that I had accidentally left my mobile charger in the room. I immediately called the reception and spoke with Ali, explaining the situation. He told me that he would check with housekeeping and call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a call back. After waiting for about an hour, I called again, and I was told that the housekeeping staff was on a break and that they would call me once the staff returned. Again, nobody contacted me. I ended up making around 5–6 calls to the reception, but I felt that there was very little effort from the staff to actually follow up. All I expected was for someone to physically check the room and confirm whether the charger was there. Finally, I personally visited the hotel at around 7:15 PM. Ali was there, but even then, he was reluctant to send someone to physically check the room. At that point, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. I have rarely experienced such poor follow-up and customer service from hotel reception staff. Fortunately, I met one of the security staff members, Mr. Brian, who handled the situation completely differently. He immediately understood my concern and helped me locate and retrieve the charger within just 5 minutes. I genuinely appreciate his helpful attitude, quick response, and the way he made me feel that my concern actually mattered. Management feedback: Please provide better training to the reception staff on basic guest handling, communication, ownership, and follow-up. In the hospitality industry, even a small issue like a forgotten charger should be handled with courtesy and a willingness to help. Guests should not have to make 5–6 calls or personally return to the hotel just to get someone to check a room. I would especially like to appreciate Mr. Brian from the security team for his excellent assistance. His attitude and willingness to help demonstrated the level of service I expected from the hotel in the first place. Overall, my stay was negatively affected by this experience with the reception staff, despite the excellent help I eventually received from Brian.
