Doha Diplomatic Area Hotels

The hotel is in a great location: not too busy, but close to a shopping center, metro, and beach. The hotel itself is very modern, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and a well-equipped gym. The staff was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the clothesline for drying swimsuits in the bathroom. The only things I would suggest improving are installing a soft-closing toilet seat and fixing the ventilation system in the bathroom. We also couldn't figure out how to adjust the air conditioning, and the tap at the vanity is the wrong size. However, these are minor issues that may not bother everyone.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. Staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome. We arrived early, and the receptionist checked us in immediately. The room was complimentary upgraded to Seaview on the 10th floor with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious, with continental buffet and cooked breakfast available to order at the table. Dinner had many choices on offer, including sushi. Chef was aware of my allergies to shellfish and ensured I had specially prepared a platter each evening. The pool and beach area is spacious with plenty of loungers to choose from, ice cooler of bottle water replenished, and cold face towels provided. We were truly impressed with traditional decor and personal touches like fruit basket on arrival.

I was warmly received by the hotel staff at 0530am and surprisingly was offered early check into a beautiful, spacious and luxurious room . Throughout my stay and drinking , dinning at the hotel facility, it was wonderful experience all the time. I will return back on my next trip to Doha .

I’ve stayed in a lot of W Hotels and this one is my least favorite. The location is fine, though there isn’t much in the immediate area other than malls. The hotel facilities are limited. The pool is very small with very few sun loungers and the gym is small but sufficient. The hotel claims to have beach access but this is not true. The beach is some distance away and entrance is expensive. The breakfast is fantastic with very helpful waiters. Although, a bill was presented to us at each breakfast despite our breakfast being included in our rate. I think this was more for tips. I’ve never experienced this in any other hotel in the world.

Staying at Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay was a very pleasant experience. The staff was consistently helpful and polite, making sure our needs were met with a smile. The rooms were kept clean and provided a comfortable environment. The central location of the hotel made it convenient for me to access dining options.

Nice hotel and walking distance to the malls. The only downside is they don’t have proper sports channel that covers international football like laliga or EPL. For 5 stars hotel I can’t accept this. Gotta go to sports bar inside the malls to catch the football match. For country like Qatar this is humiliating.

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel staff is warm and helpful. They upgraded us to a suite. We can see the sunrise over the sea from the room. It was the first time we took a taxi and found that the magnetic stripe card could not be used. Finally, the staff paid the fare for us. They watched us go out to play and filled up the free mineral water bottle. They answered our questions as they came. It was really heartwarming. I highly recommend it! ! ! The price/performance ratio is amazing! !

I had an amazing stay at Qibla Westbay Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me with a warm smile and offering exceptional service throughout my visit. Their professionalism and friendliness made my stay all the more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and spacious, but the highlight was definitely the view—absolutely stunning! It added a special touch to my experience, making it even more memorable. I would certainly return and highly recommend Qibla Westbay Hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

Great location, the hotel is very close to the Red Metro line stop and is attached to the giant city center mall. The room is large and functional, only flaw, a bit worn carpet. Good and varied breakfast with quality ingredients including fresh fruit juices.
