Perfect base to do a couple of days cycling along the Ruta del Aceite. Very comfortable, easily accessible and right between the ruta and the village. Bike rental just over the road. Plenty of places to drink and eat off site as well.

Tout était très bien sauf le petit déjeuner. Peut-être qu’en saison il est différent, en buffet ? je comprendrais qu’en hiver ce soir un petit-dej à prendre au bar de l’hôtel mais ça surprend. Par contre à souligner le point fort du parking privé et gratuit, la grande amabilité du monsieur à l’accueil.

Excelente Cocina de la que hemos disfrutado en el Restaurante del Hotel Mencia Subbética. De antemano conocemos el magnífico trabajo que realiza su Chef Juan Orellana Espadas y que a pesar de ello, nos sigue sorprendiendo con su creatividad, con el contraste de sus platos y con la explosión de sabores que contemplan, con una presentación cuidada y espectacular. En cuanto al Servicio, resaltamos la atención que nos ha prestado el encargado de turno Manolo, hemos echado en falta la presencia del amigo Antonio Fernandez Jimenez que se encontraba de descanso !! Nuestra felicitación a todos ellos y a sus equipos por la labor que realizan!!!👏👏👏👏 Como muestra os dejo algunos los platos que hemos compartido ,como Tacos de Calamares, Crepes de Carrillada, Croquetas, Rosca de San Blas, Sorpresa de Algodón, Pasión de Chocolates... Todos ellos exquisitos !!! Muchas gracias y seguro que volveremos !!!

Esta bien situado, al lado de la vía verde ciclista. La atención fue buena, la chica de recepción amable y las instalaciones bien en general. Se puede ir caminando al centro del pueblo lleno de bares, restaurantes y demás. No le doy las 5 * porque encontramos algún pelo entre las sábanas, por lo demás todo bien

Personeel spreekt niet of slecht Engels, doet ook niet de moeite om je te begrijpen. Kamer was netjes en schoon met een mooi balkon. Helaas was het zwembad gesloten, dit vonden wij vervelend het was namelijk boven de 30 graden en hadden bewust een hotel met zwembad geboekt. Degene die bij de receptie zat kon geen duidelijke verklaring geven waarom het zwembad gesloten was. Bij het inchecken werd ook niet genoemd dat het zwembad gesloten was, zwembad was voorzien van water. Ontbijt was slecht staat niet aangeven wat het ontbijt is. het bestaat uit een halve pistolet met kaas jam of vleeswaar. Glas jus de orange en kop thee of koffie. Dame in de ontbijt ruimte spreekt geen Engels. Tegenover het hotel kun je fietsen huren en een gedeelte van de viaverdes fietsen erg leuk om te doen. Goede fietsen!
