This was an excellent stay near Dongguan. The accommodation was as described, very clean and homely. I was after peace and quiet and this location delivered that completely. With a beautiful view over a lake, sunset in the distance, green forest and fields around and interesting old buildings to explore, this was the perfect spot. I enjoyed walking round the local wetlands and exploring the ancient villages. The restaurant next to the hotel was extremely helpful and made me some very tasty vegetarian food. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing break.

Drunk for a Thousand Years, I am really drunk and broken. Let’s change the name to Broken Thousand Years! I saw online that this B&B allows dogs to stay, so I booked a room in advance for the holiday and called to confirm that pets are allowed. I drove for more than two hours to the B&B, but I didn't expect the check-in process to be even more bumpy than my drive. When checking in, the hotel unilaterally announced that pets would not be allowed from April onwards, but we did not receive any notification. The on-site leader said that we would not be allowed to check in and did not offer any solution. They were very arrogant! The question is, this is our rule, you can figure it out yourself. Rigid attitude and bad attitude! After negotiations and communication with the Qunar platform, we were finally allowed to stay there out of helplessness, but this was just the beginning. To be honest, this homestay is not yet ready for operation. There are construction sites outside and all the rooms are container houses, not cement ones. There is a damp and smelly smell in the rooms, similar to mold. There are more than a dozen rooms in total, and the charges are so expensive, and there is only one operator at night... Finally, I have to say that this B&B doesn't care about everyone's experience and evaluation at all. It feels like it doesn't make money from this. I hope everyone will open their eyes and don't spend money to suffer.
