Dongguan Dongcheng Subdistrict Hotels

If staying in Dongguan this business hotel is very comfortable. The king sized room was very spacious. Breakfast was included and I appreciated the washing machine and clothes dryer. The staff welcomed me on each occasion. Very handy location to the mall and the Dongcheng metro station. Dongguan metro is very fast to the high speed railways stations at each end. Interesting neighbourhood.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegant Lingnan style design and impeccable service. Room & Amenities The room was beautifully appointed and thoughtfully laid out, offering both comfort and functionality. A standout feature was the separate toilet and bath, which added a touch of sophistication and convenience. The modern furnishings, high-quality bedding, and spacious layout made for a truly relaxing stay. Location The hotel is situated in one of Dongguan’s most vibrant districts, surrounded by bustling energy and endless entertainment options. Adjacent to the property is a massive shopping mall, providing guests with easy access to retail, dining, and leisure activities. Executive Lounge Experience Though located on a lower floor, the Executive Lounge is a true gem. The selection of delicacies was exceptional, with a variety of gourmet bites and premium beverages. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and attentive service—special thanks to Steven and Freya, who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made every visit to the lounge delightful. Overall Impression Without a doubt, the InterContinental Dongguan stands as the best hotel in the city. Its combination of modern luxury, prime location, and outstanding service—especially from staff like Steven and Freya—makes it a top recommendation for both business and leisure travelers. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The room I booked was an executive suite. It was large. It had two large rooms, a large bathroom and a walk in closet and a separate toilet. The decor is a little dated. But this did not make it feel any less grand. The previous hotel was more modern but this room is grander in scale. the bedroom had a panoramic view of the city. We were on the 15th floor. The elevator was fast and would get you from 1 to 15 in 20 seconds. The bathtub could be enjoyed in the dark with the blinds lifted something I took advantage of each day. The toilets are not smart which I got used to in my previous hotel. But they did the job. The shower had good water pressure, the rainfall shower was installed into the ceiling and it had great intensity. The shampo, conditioner and gel were great and the toothpaste was Colgate. There were some amenities listed but we're not available during our stay such as the executive lounges and bars, but the staff explained all the benefits could be enjoyed in the dining hall. There is a onsite pool, gym and sauna on the 5th floor along with a spa. I did not get to try the pool as I had no swim wear. But you could rent if you wanted. The buffet breakfast and dinner was all very good with a lot of options. The freshly cooked noodle and grill station were amazing. I would recommend arriving when it starts or an hour into service as sometimes they begin to pack up before the service is closed. Drinks were unlimited and so was the self serve gelato, which I frequented The room was non-smoking and free from smells as requested which is a plus and I am thankful for, as this could ruin the experience for me and my pregnant partner. The staff were all very welcoming and would greet us every day. Amenities and towels were replenished The interior of the hall was grand the dining hall was decorated, high ceilings and lots of lights secured behind a safety net. Dongguan I did not get to see much of. But it's a city that is in the midst of development with new metros being planned and in the midst of being built. I am excited to see how it changes. Our stay was short but it is indeed one of our most memorable hotels. One due to the size and grandeur of the room and the second was the service provided.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed playing golf. Breakfast was okay.. they have 2 restaurants but no dinner buffet. Sad we weren’t able to taste the food at their restaurant because of the events there, so we were told that the restaurant was closed for the event. They didn’t have toiletries for kids too :( but its okay. And also a little bit disappointed because my husband couldn’t speak Chinese and there was a misunderstanding due to the language barrier so we were charged a big amount for the water he got at the pool side, should’ve brought the water we had in our room.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel initially with colleagues and later returned with my family for another fantastic experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff members were friendly and accommodating, and the highlight was the spacious and enjoyable swimming pool. We especially loved the indoor jacuzzi pool, adding to our relaxation and enjoyment. My family had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed during our stay. We are looking forward to returning to the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel in the future.

We recently spent 3 nights at this apartment, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The room was clean, and we appreciated the practical amenities like the washing machine and fridge. The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to help. Plus, the location is fantastic - Wanda Plaza is just nearby, and there are tons of restaurants to choose from. We'll definitely consider staying here again!

We selected this hotel due to its location - conveniently situated in the heart of Dongcheng. Also, due to the unpredictable weather, the indoor pool, dining, Spa (facilities and recreation at this hotel) allowed us to relax without worrying about the rain! We were lucky to book the driverless taxi around town as the stopping point for this service is directly at the gate to the hotel. Always a pleasant stay here!

The hotel is average! There is a late-night snack stall not far away, full of people eating late-night snacks! But if you check in at night, it is difficult to park and you have to find a spot yourself. The room facilities are OK. The TV cannot be projected, which is not very convenient. The room hygiene is OK.

Donghua Apartment is good stay for a foreigner. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and a good location. The hotel is near One For the Road pub and a handful of foreign shops. This is where I will come for future trips to Dongguan.
