Surprise birthday treat. We stayed for 2 nights and had a tour wine tasting. From the minute we arrived to this very warm cosy hotel we were greeted by friendly faces and staff who couldn't do enough for us. We were given a complimentary glass of Fizz and a bottle of fizz in our room. The room (16) was lovely, very roomy with great views of the vineyard. Food was exceptional and the setting perfect. Plenty of parking and a great area for walking. Wine tasting was very informative and I must add, I didn't have great expectations for English wine. We bought quite a few bottles to bring home, which has certainly proved me wrong. Great place, lots to do and lovely staff.

Booked the entire hotel for our daughters wedding for a two night stay. Room not serviced at all after our initial check-in. No replenishment of refreshments (tea, coffee, milk etc) for our second night stay, bins not emptied. Not sure if the towels were clean as one of the hand towels had make up on it when we arrived. £370 for a two night stay, paid in advance, then advised of a £35 per night supplement for a three year to sleep in his parents bedroom. Too many disappointments to mention. Far better accommodation options available locally.

Absolutely amazing overnight stay, wine tasting, fabulous food, fantastically welcoming. Couldn’t fault it, from Flora on reception and Alfie who was our waiter. Food was phenomenal, room clean and well equipped. Amazing views. We will be back.

Lovely sparkling afternoon tea with friendly service and fabulous views across the vines. Plenty of yummy food and a take home box provided if necessary. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon in vineyard hotel restaurant. Thank you Denbies.

What a disappointing stay. We had booked the best room but it was distinctly underwhelming. The bed was small, with lumpy uncomfortable pillows and a duvet that barely fit the bed. In the bathroom the towels were small and of cheap quality. There were no amenities other than shower gel in the shower and handwashing for the sink and bath. No tissues, body lotion, soap - nothing. The bedroom furniture was built in and looked like cheap MDF. The restaurant was ok. There wasn’t a lot of choice but it was OK. The service however was not good. Breakfast in the morning was quite good although again the staff were not attentive to our needs. We paid £284 for 1 night, bed breakfast and evening meal without drinks.

The hotel was clean and well appointed, reception, restaurant and cleaning staff keen to help with any and all requests. Your only option for dinner is the hotel restaurant unless willing to walk the 4k return to Dorking high street through vineyards and streets. We enjoyed the walk up Box Hill and ventured as far as Leatherhead on bridleways and footpaths. Bonus for runners is the Saturday morning Parkrun that starts and finishes on the property.

Courtyard restaurant. Visited 18/4/24 and had a super lunch in the restaurant. All the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful especially in assisting my father is a celiac. The best gf fish and chips he has had. Thank you

Had a short but wonderful time at Denbies after a very long stressful train journey down for a work event. I had to push my table back twice and ended up missing dinner and the team really looked after me. Stacy sorted a cheeseboard out for me and all other staff were lovely. The Denbies wines were beautiful to try and I will definitely be trying more on my next visit. The room was also beautiful and the bed comfy although the pillows a little firm for me. Overall a great, short but sweet experience and I hope I get a chance to stay here again!
