Forest Hotel

5 friends met up for Sunday lunch and all enjoyed our meals. A piece of advice about parking. Be warned. You must register your car otherwise you will receive a hefty £100 fine ! Due to a dash into the hotel during a shower, we did not notice the sign outside. Unfortunately there was no mention of vehicle registration from the staff or a card on the table advising of this.

We had our Christmas dinner here, there were 17 of us and I have got to say as always the food was just fabulous and very enjoyable. A Big shout out to Dan the chef your food is amazing! We are coming back again this Sunday for a lovely Roast. Thank you for having us Darren & Juliette

Pre Christmas Sunday lunch for the family. Food good for six adults and three children, but Mulled Wine unavailable due to heater malfunction. We were seated in a large dining room. Comfortable but very very cold. Central heating probably not working.

Katie and crew ,what stars .. Mum lived in Dorridge and Knowle since 1980. Brilliant venue for her celebration of life . Lovely function room excellent buffet menu and morecthan happy to make a couple of tweeks The room with bar well layed out and We order food for 55 ....plenty left over and the quality was fantastic, excellent sandwiches, fresh make sausage rolls ,goats cheese tarts ,scotch eggs (posh ) 😋. We ask for a small cone of goujons of fish and chips as a nod to Mum's favourite meal in later life and it was not a problem. Tea and coffee. Great food, excellent service with friendly helpful staff. The Mcphun clan would like to thank the Forest staff for a fantastic celebration and farewell to our Mum . Attended a a post funeral wake for a family member at this hotel . I parked my van in the car park . There were no clearly marked parking requirements or restrictions displayed anywhere . I went to the function room for the wake . There were no signs in the entrance stating that the registration mark of van had to be logged in the hotel .Today I received a parking fine of £100 within 28 days . Beware .

60th Birthday Party Held my husband’s surprise 60th birthday party on the 1st June. Started ringing venues at the beginning of May 2024, as it was a last minute surprise. Eventually, I found the perfect place for the party it was local for me but an added bonus for my guest. As it is just 10 minutes off the M42 motorway and opposite the train station Katie (events coordinator ) was so helpful . Nothing was too much trouble for her, irrespective of how trivial it was. (I had many queries ) Katie, provided her expertise and experience on food choices, setting /layout of the room to ensure the night was perfect for my husband. On the evening of the event , I met with Sam and his team. They were organised, professional, friendly and ensured everything was perfect on his arrival. All guests commented on the food , which was outstanding!( thank you to the chef and kitchen staff). It was a perfect evening for my husband. I would definitely recommend The Forest for any party! Thank you to everyone involved making it a night to remember for all.
