This hotel has the rudest staff i mean all the way down to there people am who make breakfast i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone i know or don't known and while i was there i over heard and seen the police bring in a female that was abused by her bf or husband and the staff treated her like absolute crap!

Not dirty but desperately needs renovation. Tiles falling off in the bathroom, the room was half painted. Hallway carpet needs to be replaced. Etc. Not expensive but overpriced for the condition. Staff was just there to get a paycheck. Try elsewhere.

DO NOT STAY HERE! NOT SAFE!!! I was here due to my MOM of 83 in the hospital, and had been at this hotel several weeks for days at the time over the summer. This stay on September 2024 was not what I found it to be. We were on our 2nd day, when we discovered at 9 pm entry and after we requested the morning, that no one cleaned our room- AGAIN.I am thinking no issues I will just walk down to the front desk and request for a towel and just deal with it. I have done this numerous time in other establishments. While some staff members were courteous, and why I previously stay. I found ONE LADY unhelpful when I raised my concerns. For instance, the response to my request for additional toiletries was responded with "NO, you need to bring ALL your DIRTY linens down and I will give you one towel and sheets for you to make your own bed, and I will not take any attitude" PROBLEM there were two people, myself and my husband, and NOW I am supposed to clean my own room I paid for the hotel service to do and I can only have one TOWEL. When I attempted to politely disagree with her and attempted to request that I only needed two towels, I had been at a hospital COVID ward all day, and needed to have a shower. I made the mistake of asking for her name and Manager which I was harshly denied. She began to threaten me, she would call the police, and cussed me to where I felt for my SAFETY. I could not stay at this hotel any longer. We packed our bags and immediately checked out and drove overnight instead of sleeping in safety. I have traveled and stayed in 100's - of hotels all over the United States and NEVER once have I felt a threatened for my safety until this COMFORT INN in DOTHAN AL EAST SIDE BY THE SOUTHEAST ALABAMA MEDICAL CENTER_ NEVER STAY HERE!!!

Just what we needed for a one night stay on our trip to Florida. The room was fine - clean, quiet, comfortable bed, hot shower. The area felt safe. Easy to find. Very close to Southeast hospital. Breakfast was average. The staff were personable.

This has been one of my most horrible stays at any hotel!!! Me and my 3 kids stayed here for a family reunion the first morning of our stay a lady from the front desk came to me and told me there were complaints of the kids being too loud and demanded me and my kids to move to a different room to accommodate someone else’s stay without any warning we never moved to a different room so later that night they called the police on me and my kids just because we did not agree to accommodate someone else’s stay the police told us if we made any noise we would have to leave without any refund I highly do not recommend this hotel for any one especially with kids because they are very inconsiderate and heartless I thought this was very unprofessional as well my kids was 3 7 and 15 I’m not sure what they would expect from that age range we could not wait to leave the next morning so sad!!!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and the rest of the facility was well maintained. It was a very good stay. Andrea at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We'll stay there again next time we're in Dothan.

We stopped here on our return visit from Florida, an d found it to be a comfortable place for an overnight stop. Much of the traffic flow through Dothan uses U.S. 231, which is on the west side of town. This hotel is on U.S. 84, on the east side, and is somewhat away from the major traffic of Dothan. This is actually a plus for the place. Good breakfast. Arriving late, we slept in the next morning a bit. Second time we've stayed here, and it was as good as the first. Would recommend. Only downside was the thermostat control. The room was a bit hard to regulate at times, but it wasn't a major issue.

The greeting we received from the hotel reception was amazing. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. Young lady with teal hair. She made us feel like a prominent guest in her home. She made sure we had a room on the ground floor, even when I forgot to mention it in my reservation online. Room was tidy well taken care of and updated. We will stay here again.
